It was a wonderful discovery for New Year's Eve in Florence. There were 11 of us and we immediately felt at home. The place is small but very welcoming, the staff are super friendly and attentive, and the food is truly excellent. A truly authentic place we'll definitely return to.

I had a good meal here. Their carbonara isn’t like the typical carbonara you would get. It’s very savory, spicy, good amount of salt and this is just perfect. The food isn’t too heavy. I highly recommend visiting here.

If you're visiting Santa Croce, I highly recommend lunch here (the Spaghetti Mezza Carbonara and Onion Tart are a must!) The Spaghetti Mezza Carbonara and Onion Tart is a must! I also enjoyed a bottle of Langhe Nebbiolo (a perfect rosso for lunch).

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The lady was incredibly kind to my son, which really touched us. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The decor is unique and stylish, giving the place a truly special atmosphere. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, well deserved! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First night in Florence and my husband and I noticed this cozy restaurant directly under our accommodation. Service was impeccable and friendly. Atmosphere was energetic as the restaurant was full with groups outside waiting for a table. Tagliatelle al Cinghiale was so incredible. Rich depth of flavor and it felt like a warm hug. The best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Cacio e Pepe was perfectly balanced and creamy, I could have eaten 3 more plates of that alone. We’ve tried this classic dish a couple times since being in Italy but Maga Magò was our favourite. Crème Brule was recommended for dessert and it did not disappoint. 10/10 experience.

Having chosen this restaurant based on reviews I have to say I am disappointed. Looking at previous reviews/ photos I could see the typical florentine steak was a menu option, as such I enquired if this was on the menu this evening. However I was rudely told it wasn’t available and never has been due to this being available everywhere in Florence and was a point of differentiation for the restaurant (which is simply a lie based on previous photos and menu associated with the restaurant). From this point onwards this tainted the meal, food was nice but not outstanding and service was so so. Unfortunate noting the apparent family nature of business and previous guests positive experiences.

I've been going there almost every week for the past nine months! A truly exceptional restaurant in Florence. Every dish is prepared with great finesse at reasonable prices. Go and (re)discover classic Tuscan cuisine; you won't be disappointed by any of the dishes on the menu. My top three trattorias in Florence!
