I wanted to eat typical dishes in Milan and I chose this trattoria with genuine flavors and generous servings. The saffron risotto with ossobuco is excellent. A place that despite being close to the center is characteristic and maintains a consolidated tradition within it.

i would say cotoletta was good, but the ossobuco meat still tough and the bone marrow was tasteless. Risotto was ok

Very kind and fast staff, clean environment, good and abundant food. Negative note the toilet, truly uncomfortable, and the internal temperature in the restaurant did not reach 19 degrees. I will definitely return, but not before April

Truly surprised by this restaurant with typical Lombard dishes. Generous portions, tasty dishes and average prices considering the area. Advised!

The place is undoubtedly fascinating, with an atmosphere that strikes you at first glance. However, being very busy in this period, the service is not very personal, although decidedly "efficient".
A weak point is the offer of wines by the glass: there is only one option of white or red, and no half bottles or quarters are offered. For those who want just one glass, the options are truly limited.
Moving on to the food, unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The mondeghili were extremely dry and bland. The ravioli also left a lot to be desired, with a dry filling and no particular flavour. The cheese fondue on top, instead of enriching the dish, made it very heavy, more than it should be.
The prices, considering today's standards in Milan, are not bad, but unfortunately the overall experience does not justify a visit.

Nel popolare quartiere di Porta Ticinese, nel pressi dello storico deposito dei tram in stile liberty (da visitare), la più antica trattoria milanese onora ancora con i suoi piatti, e a pieni voti, la tradizione della cucina meneghina. Un plauso particolare per i paccheri al ragù d'anatra e la cortesia e il garbo del personale.
