A historic Milanese trattoria serving solid traditional cuisine. A few dishes (which I think is a good thing), all very good and masterfully prepared. Close to tradition yet also in tune with modernity. Very fast service, absolutely reasonable prices. The mondeghili appetizers are a must-try; they're galactic!

It’s 35 degrees in Milan right now and two best friends come together to share 3 main courses — one hailing from Bohemia and the other from the brexited town. Wow. We craved tradition and we had been directed to Trattoria Madonnina to quench the thirst. It was exquisite. We ordered two dishes from the main menu and one from the daily special. It came quickly and did not disappoint. Staff were very attentive but did lie and say the ceiling fan was broken, but then did eventually switch it on. We started to feel high from how delicious the food was and how much sweat was beading on our necks. To top it all off an accordion player graced us with a few beats while we ate dessert. ARRIVEDERCI!! Dog friendly. 🐶

Confermo le altre recensioni positive. Tutto benissimo, cibo buono e porzioni grandi, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Sei ci tornerei? Assolutamente si! Se lo consiglio? Assolutamente si. L'unica nota stonata e non adeguata è il wc. Proprio da sistemare.

Cena nella media come qualità e prezzi, in una trattoria non ci si aspetta i camerieri con l'auricolare stile buttafuori da discoteca ma un personale più accogliente. Capisco il business ma sembra di essere in una fabbrica non hai tempo nemmeno di respirare, cenato con primo e secondo in solo mezz'ora.

26/05/2025: I really like osteria dal verme. The atmosphere is small, nice and cozy, which is what you would expect from an Osteria. Staff is friendly and caring. The waiter asked me multiple times how I was and gave a lot of recommendations for food. The chef Pass by and asked if I liked the dinner which is always nice. I had Ossobuco alla milanese with risotto. The risotto especially was to die for and the combination of the two was really delicious! I had the chance to compare it a couple of days after with the ossobuco from ristorante dal piccolo and osteria dal verme is way above (also served the platter with the spoon to eat the midollo which the other restaurant didnt). The chocolate budin was also really good!

16/07/2025: It's nice and cozy. The service is very friendly. The food is varied. The pizza was very good. The pasta carbonara was tasty, but a bit too salty.
