I had dinner at Trattoria L'ovile Da Sabatino on Via Flaminia, and the experience was… authentic. The atmosphere is rustic, old-fashioned, and welcoming, like a true trattoria of yesteryear. I tasted homemade dishes, fresh pasta, and flavorful grilled meats, though I did find the prices a bit high for the quality. The service is friendly and familiar, perhaps a little slow.

We've been coming here for 30 years, and everything has remained very similar. The food is truly delicious. We had a wonderful time, the waiters were kind and polite, the price wasn't too high, and the service was excellent, with virtually no wait, and delicious coffee. We'll definitely be back!

Then there are them, the girls of the petit four who serve you with a smile and a helpfulness that is far beyond what you expect from a bar/café. You sit down kissed by the sun, with your eyes lost in the fantastic upholstery and the flavor of the pekan nut brioche explodes in your mouth that has nothing to do with the one you have eaten a thousand times elsewhere Simply a sensory dream.
