Excellent experience. Good food, fast and attentive service. Kudos to the young owner, who's very friendly and always available to accommodate guests' requests. I highly recommend it.

Really loved the vibe and the food (which was really quick!) I had a lasagna, roast beef and potatoes and an apple cake with caramel ice cream....loved every dish. Definitely recommend

Excellent Tuscan cuisine (for us the vegetable flan, the pappardelle al peposo di manzo and the roast beef are top). Lovely outdoor setting in a historic square a stone's throw from the Duomo.

2025.6.17 I visited at 7pm and even though I didn't make a reservation, there were a few seats available and I was able to sit down right away. The staff were all friendly and I had a very good impression. Pappardelle made with wild boar meat, a local dish in Florence. The meat is simmered until it's soft and melts in your mouth, and the pasta is thick and flat, so it's filling. It's very delicious, but if you eat it all by yourself, you might get a little bored, so I think sharing about half is just right. The pomodoro is a tomato sauce that is familiar in Japan, and has just the right amount of acidity and saltiness, so it's very delicious and you won't get bored of eating it. The bread was too hard and I couldn't eat it. Credit cards are accepted

We ate a first course quickly because we had a train. The taste was very good, too bad the pasta was practically raw.....just a few more minutes and everything was perfect The friendly staff in a magnificent place. I think I'll go back

Allo Stracotto, si mangia davvero bene. Che sia un pranzo di famiglia o una festa tra amici, sinceramente non si può chiedere di meglio. Piatti di grande qualità dagli antipasti al dolce, ottimi i fegatini e gli affettati, una strepitosa cacio e pepe e menzione d'onore per la Bistecca. Grande cortesia da parte del personale di sala e si trova a due passi dal Duomo. Stracotto, straconsigliato

Location molto carina nel centro. Staff in parte disponibile e sorridente, in parte scocciato e con il muso. Antipasto povero per il prezzo, pappardelle con troppissimo pepe e tagliatelle buone.

01/06/2025: Renovated place, old-fashioned cuisine. Traditional Tuscan food prepared by Filippo, a really great and very friendly chef. It was like eating at grandma's, you feel at home. Excellent wine list.

28/06/2025: Clean and quiet environment, familiar, as they say "alla buona", but the food is excellent. Traditional Tuscan menu with excellent steak, tender and cooked to perfection. Very good, of course, also the classic Mugello potato tortelli. More than adequate prices. I always gladly return. 2025. I am updating the review since in the meantime the restaurant-pizzeria has been completely renovated. The environments are very beautiful and well-kept, with a touch of refinement more than in the past. Always excellent service, as is the cuisine. I would like to point out, in addition to what has already been mentioned, the pizzas, truly exceptional both in terms of dough and filling, above all the digestibility is excellent. Congratulations to everyone, also for the friendliness. Well done!
13/05/2025: We are regular customers, it is a guarantee with a remarkable cost-quality ratio... we had pizza night for Mother's Day, pizzas as always tasty and super desserts... I recommend the pears and ricotta and the 7 chocolate dessert... to finish with the Marengo guarantee... highly recommended.
