Excellent dinner for two. Chicken liver crostini was excellent, as was the "pepato" (a spicy dish). Finally, biscotti with vin santo and the bill. Perfect.

It's delicious! We tried many dishes; the lasagna and pasta were the best, though the others were also excellent. Please don't leave Florence without trying it. It's located in a very pretty square.

I had the best ossobuco here today. The meat was tender, not too much fat and the tomatoe sauce was very good. I really enjoy this restaurant. The service was outstanding. This restaurant has a sister restaurant called All Antico Ristoro Di Cambi which is also great. I can recommend both restaurants.

A very nice place. We had a very good dinner, relaxed, because we've been indulging for over 10 days, so it's relaxed. We ate grilled chicken with tomato and arugula salad. Soft music, very good service.

Visited in March 2013 - Just six minutes’ walk from the Duomo, this San Lorenzo trattoria is a reliable option if you find yourself stuck for dinner nearby (book ahead, it fills up fast). Seasonal produce drives the menu: young artichokes, sliced fine with olive oil and pecorino romano, were the perfect spring starter (8.5/10). A grilled loin of pork with roasted potatoes followed - pink, tender, and simply seasoned, with potatoes caramelised at the edges and scented with rosemary (7/10). Tiramisu closed the meal: light and creamy, though it needed a stronger espresso backbone for balance (7/10). Honest cucina casalinga with attentive service and solid execution.

09/11/2025: Very limited selection of unoriginal dishes: they may be organic, but they lacked flavor. Portions were modest. Service was quick and friendly. A vegetarian restaurant should strive to offer creative, flavorful dishes that are pleasing to the eye and palate, but this was a disappointment.
07/11/2025: 5ecinque is my favourite restaurant in Firenze. Not only do they make delicious and interesting vegetarian food, it is a beautiful spot, full of character. The owner and staff are lovely, too. A true gem where I am always happy to return ❤️

Trattoria Bordino

14/11/2025: The meat was delicious. We were served pate foie gras, but we didn't like it much; it wasn't to our taste, but it was good. Since we didn't like foie gras, they brought us a side of bread with thyme, olive oil, and tomatoes. The waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was nice and warm.
09/11/2025: Good vibes, rustic setting in a cave like dining place. Good Food, service still to be improved. All things in menu reasonably priced. We enjoy the food.
