Spectacular! At Alfio's you immediately feel at home, the staff, the kitchen and Alfio himself make you feel at home with their friendliness! They advised me what to eat and I wasn't wrong: INCREDIBLE horse meatballs, delicious horse rag! In short, I will definitely come back to try their other delicacies too! Thanks Alfio!

On August 5, 2024, we have just arrived in Catania, Sicily. We looked for dinner near the accommodation and found Lo Chef, a typical Trattoria. About to close but they attended to us. We ordered a tray for 2 of grilled meat products, it had something like leek or similar wrapped in bacon, a minced meat like a hamburger, beef steak, “I don't think it was horse, and non-German meat sausage. The truth is that everything was very good. The iron is visible, they do it for you on the fly. We drank water and Italian beer.

Tastefully furnished, with curious solutions - the sugar is under the table, placed among the greenery in the visible drawer thanks to the glass, it is very suitable as a teapot: for tea with friends, for example (the desserts are good, good ). But it is also pleasant for brunches or dinners, with an unusual and genuine menu, including vegetable creams, burgers and much more. Never forget the desserts.
27/01/2025: Definitely a coffee shop that stands out. Warm atmosphere, soft music, beautifully decorated space. Friendly staff. Menu also in English. Ideal choice for brunch.
