I do not understand the negative comments surrounding this restaurant - our walking tour guide recommended it to us when we asked where to go for lunch. Sadly they were closed when we tried so we went back for dinner. Firstly the service was excellent, not over the top or rude, they made recommendations for the specials which were based on fresh ingredients purchased. Secondly, the restaurant itself is clearly a traditional one that has been there for many years, it has a wonderful feel about it and adds to the charm. The food was a great and fresh. Definitely recommend visiting

Lunch at this Trattoria offers typical Bolognese cuisine, a historic, elegant and tidy place. 5 stars for the cuisine, the service has talent in sales and this can be a pro but this time it was a little exaggerated. Entering to consume a plate of pasta and some good wine, I was asked if I wanted to "nibble" something before the dish, the result was a starter costing 20 euros and more, I then read on the receipt 7 euros for the parmesan cheese in the pasta... all very good, well done the guys at service, but this is perplexing. The offer procedure to the customer certainly needs to be reviewed, not very transparent in this case

We ate really well, the food was really excellent, the prices were honest and the staff were very kind.
It is located in a very quiet alley that allows you to eat in total relaxation despite being a stone's throw from the center.

È in un vicoletto a due passi dal pieno centro storico e questo ti permette di mangiare in tutta tranquillità giusto fuori dalla bolgia del centro.
Vera cucina bolognese, piatti ottimi e che meritano di ritornarci.

Very tasty food, had great gastronomic pleasure. The tortellini with Parmesan are very tender, as are the bolognese cutlet and tagliatelle al ragu👍 The antipasto was a fresh and fragrant cut of meat, the dessert was also pleasing) Inside, there is a pleasant traditional interior, friendly and lively staff. The location is also great. A place where I would like to return.

Pranzo con familiari, location 🔝, servizio eccellente, cucina discreta, conto salato. Riepilogando: per antipasto 6 minuscole tigelline del prosciutto crudo e della mortadella con 3 pezzi di parmigiano (tutto molto buono). Per primi 3 tagliatelle al ragù molto mediocri (ne ho mangiato di migliori devo essere onesto). Per bere: 1 bottiglia di vino sangiovese da 37,5 ml buonissima ed 1 bottiglia d’acqua. No dolci, no caffè. Totale 105€ - 35€ a persona…secondo me è tanto, nonostante la location (pieno centro di Bologna) ed il servizio di qualità ai tavoli.

We ordered the fresh funghi grilled. My partner also had the funghi lasagne. They were delicious. Difficult to find delicious vegetarian meals. Service was average. Poor dolce options.
