Trattoria Leonida is a guarantee of authenticity and excellence in Bologna. Their lasagna is divine, and their desserts are fantastic. The first time I ate at Leonida was 10 years ago. I ordered the lasagna and the torta tenerina with cream on the side. So, years later, I wanted to try it again, also because their lasagna was memorable—what can I say, fantastic today as it was then, as was the dessert. But what makes Leonida special is its owner, with the experience of someone who has spent a lifetime at those tables, always ready to advise you on the best. I highly recommend it! 👍

Iconic, a sure bet. The veal tripe was delicious and the porcini mushrooms cooked as a no-frills main course were sublime. The traditional spaghetti al ragù Bolognese style was perfect. The tiramisu was exceptional. I recommend it!

Felt oversold & rushed upon ordering. Once served, we were able to take our time. Was recommended by free tour guide. Appreciated getting a table on graduation night in the city without a reservation.

Absolutely delicious food and wine. Best lasagna ever. Had 2 small children with us and staff were really friendly and accommodating. Also gave good recommendations and service. Highly recommend!

Muchos restaurantes están cerrados el lunes en Bolonia. Gracias a Dios este lugar estaba abierto. El servicio fue genial. Tenía la pasta con jamón y guisantes y estaba muy sabroso. El plato principal era conejo en una salsa de vinagre balsámico y era el mejor. Este lugar está fuera de los caminos trillados y vale la pena.

27/04/2025: Bel locale, caratteristico, con un menù tipico. Molto simpatica la proprietaria, e servizio veloce e cortese. Conto inferiore a 40 euro a persona.
17/04/2025: Top gegeten. Waren 3 dagen in Bologna en hebben hier iedere avond gegeten. Heerlijke lokale gerechten & wijnen. Komen zeker nog een x terug als we in de buurt zijn 🫶🏻

11/10/2025: We ate very well and were treated very well, the environment was perfect and very clean.
22/07/2025: A sure thing, you can't go wrong. I go back whenever I can, year-round. The tortellini in brodo is an absolute must, and the tagliata and cotoletta are excellent. Highly recommended.
