Superb culinary experience! You have to know that there is a restaurant to see it, otherwise you can easily walk past the door without noticing it (it is easy to park a little further). Pretty white room and a gastronomic trio at the service (one in the dining room, 2 in the kitchen). Only homemade and local! With locals too, some of whom are clearly regulars, who enjoy the good little dishes. A relaxed atmosphere and a great success for the 4 of us, even the children. Everything was delicious (the gorgonzola pear pasta was truly to die for). The house wine suited us perfectly. And the service was perfect: discreet but friendly, with lots of sweetness for the children :-)

Without the recommendation from our host at the Agritourismo Corte di Valle, we would have simply overlooked the restaurant. It was also a good thing that he made a table reservation for us. The hosts create a friendly, family-like atmosphere and serve hearty Tuscan cuisine. The food was so delicious that we made a reservation for the following day that evening, as there were many other dishes on the menu that we wanted to try. Food intolerances were also taken into account in the preparation of the dishes. Among the desserts, the fruit cheesecake is particularly noteworthy.

A great surprise. From the outside it did not look of much, but the food was excellent. We only regret we did not come here earlier in our stay as we would definitely have come back. We will next time in the area

07/01/2026: To cut to the chase, it's a great place. First, we ordered a bottle of wine, a T-bone steak, and vongole. When choosing a wine, they were polite enough to recommend a different one (and it wasn't overly expensive). The food was clean, yet had a nice body, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The vongole had fresh ingredients, but to me, the flour tasted a bit raw. It would have been 200 times better if the noodles were different. My friend enjoyed it, though. The T-bone steak was simply delicious. If you like beef, definitely get it rare. Unlike Korean T-bone steaks, the tender meat needs to be rare to be enjoyed. (They cook the fat side down.) Now for the bad part. The wine was brought out promptly, but even after 50 minutes of waiting, no other food arrived. My wise girlfriend gave me a glare. She must have forgotten, but...she seemed to have missed something. She apologized deeply. She put tomato on a mouthwatering baguette. They gave me free food drenched in olive oil and other ingredients. (I was so annoyed I didn't think I'd be able to eat it, but it was so delicious that I was satisfied. Their handling was definitely excellent.) Maybe because I came from Paris, there were one or two flies or bugs. I just caught them. Everything was great. Make sure to reserve a table at The Fork to get a discount!!

Ristorante Trattoria Angiolino - Ai 13 Arrosti

10/01/2026: During our week long stay in Firenze Angiolino was our best restaurant visit. Amazing atmosphere with great food and such a vibrant and high level of service. We will come again!
03/01/2026: Everything we tried was authentic and delicious. We tried the cappellacci with wild boar ragù, the ossobuco alla fiorentina, the tripe, and the ribollita: every dish was simply perfect; the wild boar ragù was the best I've ever had: exquisite, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ribollita was also extraordinary, rich in flavor and tradition. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service completed the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to taste authentic Florentine cuisine.
