Trattoria l'antica Ricetta In Condofuri

First of May wandering around the Ionian coast and desperately looking for a place to have lunch. Everything closed or almost full. We pass by this open restaurant and give it a try. They have a complete menu for the party for 30 euros but we are in a hurry and would be happy with a quick first course. They are kind and prepare a table for us that has just become available. We take a double taste of the first courses on today's menu, macaroni with pork sausage and strozzapreti with courgettes and bacon (I think), with a nice big bottle of fresh water. They are even quick with their service, even though the place is full. The food is also good. The surprise when we got the bill when they charged us a total of 17 euros! . What can I say? Thanks again.

Primo maggio a zonzo sulla costa ionica e alla disperata ricerca di un locale dove pranzare . Tutto chiuso o al limite pieno . Passiamo davanti a questa trattoria aperta e proviamo . Fanno un menù completo per la festa a 30 euro ma noi abbiamo fretta e ci accontenteremmo di un primo veloce . Sono gentili e ci preparano un tavolino che si è appena liberato . Prendiamo il doppio assaggio dei primi previsti dal menu odierno , maccheroni con salsiccia di maiale e strozzapreti con zucchine e pancetta ( credo ) , con una bella bottigliona di acqua fresca . Sono persino rapidi nel servizio , nonostante il locale sia pieno . Buoni anche i cibi . La sorpresa al momento del conto quando ci fanno pagare in tutto 17 euro ! . Che dire ? Grazie ancora .

Impressive value for money! Simple place and very good cuisine, I recommend it

I was on Easter Monday with relatives and I had a very good time, a family atmosphere and an ad hoc service, good macaroni, gnocchi with mushrooms, appetizers.... the pork chop was a little tough, however an exceptional wine and then colomba, bitters, coffee, fruit, fresh broad beans....... we paid 30 euros each.....

We found ourselves in Condofuri for work, we entered without knowing the place, I can say that it is the fifth time that we return during the lunch break, the food is really good, the staff are very kind. I recommend it

Hard to imagine anyone giving anything less than 5 stars. Exactly as my Nonna makes it. Buonissimo italian food!

Carbonara was OK but pancetta inside was quite raw. Spaghetti frutti di mare was perfect and delicious. The waitress was sleepy she didn't even seen that we came. My wife get the menu on her own after 10 minutes we sit XD The chef was very friendly and he knew his job. Highly recommended

Meals of all kinds always ready, from pizza to first courses, to sandwiches and stuffed focaccias. Staff quite fast in service even at the tables. It should be bigger for the user base I saw. The cleanliness of the place is generally good. There could be more attention when sweeping outside... for example closing the access doors as the people sitting at the tables can also eat the dust with their meals.

Una buona osteria così come dal titolo della recensione una buona osteria. Piatti della tradizione e ragazza che gestisce la sala gentilissima.
