Trattoria La Verdiana In Villanova sull'arda

Ed eccola la Verdiana, vista dal piccolo parcheggio. Mi accoglie un tavolo, nella prima delle 3 salette, con un gruppo di 5/6 amici gaudenti ma per niente rumorosi. L’oste mi redarguisce per la mancata prenotazione, ma intanto ci attovaglia ad un bel tavolo. Alle pareti foto seppia del ‘maestro’, locandine storiche e altre di cantanti/personaggi della lirica famosi, su tutti Carlo Bergonzi. Sono stato sul classico: ravioli quadrati di erbette/ricotta al burro/salvia; coppa arrosto con porcini, e poi con rimpianto mi sono fermato. Entrambi i piatti veramente notevoli. La mia ospite conferma in giudizio per i maltagliati ai porcini. Ottimo anche il lambrusco. Il ‘rimasto’ me lo sono portato a casa. Bagno accogliente e nel transito per raggiungerlo penso che d’estate il cortile sarà piacevole e romantico, al tramonto. Ci ritornerò. Prezzo? Medio, e vale il tutto. Da frequentare.

We went for a business lunch in July. Very beautiful location, relaxing and surrounded by greenery. Nothing to say about the food except that it's all crazy, simple but very high quality products, delicious cold cuts, wines and equally delicious desserts. It is rare to find similar places in Italy where the attention to raw materials and the customer reaches such high yet simple levels. Thank you! When we are in the area we will definitely return

Siamo tornati con grande piacere in quesa Trattoria vicina a Villa Verdi ( purtroppo chiusa). Al solito l'antipasto di salumi con il culatello è insuperabile , poi abbiamo continuato con tortelli alla Verdi e pisarei e fasò (antica ricetta Emiliana ) per concludere con il dolce, tutto con qualche buon bicchiere di lambrusco. L'arredamento molto curato nei particolari, delle sale ricorda il "Maestro" in ogni angolo.E' stato molto piacevole rivedere il proprietario, sempre cortese e gentile. Alla prossima !!!! Classic trattoria with a retro flavour, Verdi dominates the walls, very good first courses (tortelli with truffle), excellent culatello. Decide on the flavors of the second courses with tasty but very tasty guinea fowl with sage. The price is a little higher than other nearby restaurants. I didn't really appreciate it when the innkeeper belittled the work of other colleagues to elevate his product.
