Trattoria la Vecchia Guardia In Milano

I found this restaurant near where I was using Google Maps. Thanks to Google Maps for the tip. A very welcoming, traditional trattoria. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and impeccable. Excellent dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients, including porcini mushrooms and meat. The quality/price ratio was very good. A special mention for the Tuscan wine, which, despite being in bulk, was excellent. Congratulations and thank you.

The atmosphere, service, and taste were all fantastic! We ordered the Milanese risotto and the risotto of the day (carciofi), and both were absolutely delicious. Even though we arrived without a reservation, despite being tourists and not very good at Italian or English, we were treated very well. 🎵 (When I had trouble figuring out what carciofi was, they even helped me search for it on Google! They were so kind.) Also, the complimentary bread (this tradition doesn't exist in Japan, so I apologize if the name is incorrect) was better than any of the other restaurants I ate at on this trip!! Bread at restaurants is often hard and dry, so I didn't plan on eating it, but it was so moist and chewy and delicious that I ate it all!! 😍 I almost wish I could have taken it home!! 🥖 I think this is a restaurant you should definitely visit if you're in Milan!! ❤️

A very quaint trattoria in the heart of Milan. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food. We ordered ossobuco and risotto alla milanese...delicious and very filling. I recommend splitting the portion for the cutlet, which is also enormous. Everything was delicious. The price was good, I highly recommend it.

It was one of the best restaurants I ate at in Milan, a bit out of the center, but still worth a visit. They take care of and pamper their customers. They invited us for an aperitif, a delicious cream, and both the pasta and the Ossobucco along with the Milanese artoz were delicious. The dishes were also hearty, and the quality-price ratio is good. Along with the dessert, which I can't remember the name of, they served us, a signature treat, four different types of Cantucci-style pasta. They really pamper their customers here. If you go to Milan, I highly recommend it because this is homemade food, carefully prepared and made with care.

My new place in Milan!! I walked through the door last night and fell in love. Today we came for dinner and everything was delicious and everyone was super friendly!! We'll come back every time we come!!

We ate deliciously and the service was impeccable. The bill was fair, and a special mention goes to the lady at the cashier, who was truly kind and friendly!

Excellent experience! The restaurant's professionalism was evident from the moment I made my reservation. I called, and the lady helped me with parking and getting to the restaurant. Once I arrived, she greeted me with my name and escorted me to my table. She sat down, knowing I was alone, and even stopped by the table for a chat—a very nice gesture! I ordered the risotto with osso buco, and 0.5L of wine and water. The wine was excellent, the risotto spectacular, and the meat, too. Unfortunately, I couldn't stomach half of it and had to leave it on my plate. Given the professionalism of the service and the attention to detail, I expected more attention, as half of the meat was simply chewed and left on the plate (it was too stringy). Unfortunately, no, I paid the full bill, thank you, and goodbye. This aspect deserves some consideration.

questa trattoria era in zona dove eravamo noi, il primo giorno abbiamo ordinato il risotto alla milanese buonissimo. La sera dopo a cena una cotoletta la famosa orecchia di elefante buona tenerissima. Forse i prezzi un pò alti . Personale gentilissimo. Tempi di servizio nella norma.
