Trattoria La Vecchia Fonte In Castelnuovo di val di cecina

A Castelnuovo per visitare la mostra dei trompe l’oeil che ha caratterizzato l’estate del paese, ci fermiamo in questo locale sulla via principale, dopo aver letto le recensioni. Che condivido, trattoria alla buona. Ambiente familiare, cucina casalinga. Prendiamo spaghetti al ragù e acciughe sotto pesto (buona l’idea dell’abbinamento con il mascarpone). Prezzi contenuti.

We had a very delicious Pizza here, but more than that, the service was really nice and accommodating. Though we had some communication-trouble since I can't speak Italian very good the staff was really helpful, friendly and patient. :) The pizza was super fresh and I really enjoyed the coffee afterwards. The prizes, especially for the premium quality pizza were very good too!

We got a reccomendation from our Airbnb host and it was definitelly a good one! Family owned business, great food and the restaurant is nice. You feel you're far from being a regular tourist here. Go and see for yourself!

Very nice restaurant with very unusual creations. The food was great 👍, large portions. Definitely worth the price and performance! The only thing that bothered me, which isn't meant to be a criticism, is the noise level. It's relatively loud here!
