Its strong point is definitely the value for money and the kindness of the staff. A bit cold inside, and the bathroom is at the legal limit. But it's worth the trip (1).

The menu is repetitive but well-established, given the clientele, and reservations are required for a table. Signora Gina is very active and available to help customers request second courses. The service is typical of an old-fashioned trattoria, which I appreciate. The appetizers (salami and good lard) deserve second helpings, and the polenta concia is a bit bland but tasty. My only flaw is the chicken stew, which is over-soaked in cooking oil, making it slightly nauseating. But it was cooked well.

A simple, welcoming atmosphere in Vachiusella, with a breathtaking view, simple, spartan rooms, and delicious home-cooked food. Parking is a bit tricky, but worth it for the location.

11/10/2025: A simple ambiance, but honest, very good food, especially pizza 🍕 and a delicious apple pie made by Grandma. A very friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome, and the team knows their (regular) customers. Excellent value for money. Booking in the evening is definitely recommended (ideally in Italian). Simple but great!
