Trattoria La Stalla In Modena

I was looking for a typical trattoria that would meet my philosophy of focusing on the things that matter. Here I found exquisite and genuine dishes and delicious local specialties. We were well advised on what and how to order which allowed us to appreciate everything even more. It is all so good that you risk going over the limit of having a large lunch. I think it is clear that when I pass through Modena again I will return and I recommend it without hesitation. Very kind staff and clean and familiar environment. What else! I forgot: Sunday lunch three people.

Typical Modenese trattoria, FANTASTIC food, starting with tortelloni with nettle sauce filled with ricotta, moving on to gramigna with cream and sausage and finishing (all the pasta is their own production) with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a basket of fried gnocco (incredible) and tigelle which are also very good. The girls in the dining room are very kind and friendly, the environment has few seats and is welcoming (in terms of furnishings a little questionable but it's a matter of taste). Incredible value for money, especially for those who are used to Milanese prices like me. Highly recommended place!

I have been in Modena for two years now as a university student and I have come to this restaurant for dinner several times: the people who work there are very kind and the quality they offer is truly excellent, you can tell that everything is homemade. The gramigna is superb, not to mention the fried gnocco and the tigelle. There is no shortage of second courses either; in fact, it is possible to find donkey stew and lamb arrosticini: both dishes are delicious. It is a place suitable for couples and also for families who are looking for a quiet restaurant that is easily reachable by car. I recommend it.

Excellent food, especially the tortelli. I don't recommend taking too many cured meats and fried dumplings as an appetizer. Better to enjoy the first and second courses. The Lambrusco is perfect.

È la terza volta che ceniamo in questo ristorante, e l'impressione è sempre ottima. La location è molto piccolina ma molto caratteristica, con arredi tipici. Stasera era pieno imballato, con tavolate, per cui c'era molta confusione, ma nonostante ciò siamo stati serviti molto velocemente, e con molta attenzione, infatti venivano sempre al nostro tavolo a controllare se andasse tutto bene. Ottimi i tortellini e gnocco e tigelle, con salumi e formaggi in abbondanza. Devo solo fare un appunto. Personalmente amo bere acqua molto fredda anche in inverno, ma per due volte la bottiglia era praticamente a temperatura ambiente. Chiesto del ghiaccio, mi è stato detto per la seconda volta che era rotta la macchina del ghiaccio. Visto che andiamo incontro alla stagione calda, forse sarebbe meglio porre rimedio al problema, oppure servire ai tavolo bottiglie più fredde (mi avevano gentilmente proposto di mettere la bottiglia in freezer per un po', però lo ritengo poco pratico, se mi siedo vorrei poter bere subito). Cmq per il resto è ottimo, con prezzi decisamente onesti. Facevano anche i borlenghi, la prossima volta li proveremo.

Prima volta in questo locale, a seguito di un video di un famoso youtuber. Il ristorante è piccolino ma molto carino, stile vintage. Abbiamo preso due ottimi primi, tagliatelle e tortellini in brodo. Poi gnocco e tigelle con formaggi e salumi misti, tutto molto buono. Dolce nella media. Servizio rapido e gentilissimo. Prezzi nella norma, ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Consigliato, per chi cerca la cucina della tradizione. Noi ci torneremo senz'altro.
