A historic trattoria in Vignola, the tortellini and borlenghi are excellent, and the fried gnocco is delicious, paired with a nice Lambrusco. Excellent value for money.

To be honest, it must be said that the place itself is not exactly the best. However, the cuisine, strictly typical, is truly delicious! The borlenghi are truly top and there are some with various fillings: I recommend ordering them right away because as people arrive you will have to wait a bit before tasting them. The first courses are excellent, strictly homemade. The service is perhaps a bit slow but I think it is due to the fact that there is little staff compared to the customers. However, the guys are really kind and helpful. So, if you don't mind waiting a bit and you are fine with a simple osteria where the dishes are delicious, this place is for you! The price is very fair: about 80 euros for what you see in the photo (we had 2 borlenghi each in total) drinks, coffee and after-dinner drinks included 👍👍

A real trattoria with the best borlenghi in the area. Also special are the crescentine with lard and parmesan and the homemade giardiniera. To finish, a delicious cream ice cream creamed with traditional Modena vinegar.

Typical Borlenghi restaurant, fresh pasta and much more. Simple environment with excellent and super friendly service. Silvano, the owner (an exceptional person), also showed us his tricks of the trade and his awards as an excellent chef. I can only recommend this place with the typical warmth of the trattorias of the past. I go there on post from Bologna because it's really worth it. Try it to believe it.
