Trattoria la Pietra In Civitella casanova

Last night I returned to this restaurant for dinner after a few years and was pleasantly surprised by its beauty and hospitality. The restaurant is well-kept and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening out. The young woman serving tables was extremely kind and professional, offering impeccable service without being intrusive. The food was exceptional in every course: from appetizer to dessert, each dish was prepared with care and attention. The arrosticini, in particular, were a real highlight of the evening. The bill was a pleasant surprise, both for the quality of the service and the more than reasonable price.

Beautiful trattoria, well-kept atmosphere, very good food, there's little to say, well-made pairings, the Abruzzese dialect is spoken with a modern touch. Well done!

Nothing is left to chance, everything is curated to perfection. Traditional dishes revisited with taste. I returned for the delicious appetizers, which were also delicious.

We arrived here by pure chance. After taking a wrong turn, we were hungry and called a restaurant that refused us because we had our dog with us. Continuing by car, we passed Trattoria La Pietra. I called to ask if they accepted dogs, and with enthusiasm and kindness, they said yes! We ate AWESOME! We had an appetizer with very good cured meats, cut slightly thicker (I prefer them when they're like this because I think it enhances the flavor), a broccoli and crusco pepper parcel, and a kind of bread roll stuffed with porchetta, all accompanied by honey and a lovely pepper compote made and "bottled" by them (very good), all accompanied by delicious fritters. Then we had a kind of revisited "pizza," stuffed with lard and truffle shavings (it was heavenly!!!), then we moved on to the arrosticini, oh my, what a treat!!! Finally, dessert, a deconstructed tiramisu, also very good!!! And last but not least...the bill!! We paid 23 euros each!! I'd say the value for money was excellent, but above all, the quality of the products!! The staff was super friendly and very, very polite!! Especially the girl who served us was so helpful and kind, we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! In short, in my opinion, a PHENOMENAL place!! We'll be back as soon as we get back to Abruzzo!!!

We arrived without a reservation, and they were very kind and friendly in seating us. The daily menu features gnocchi or chitarra pasta with a delicious pumpkin, pancetta, and pumpkin seed sauce. The arrosticini are exquisite. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Everything was really excellent and plentiful.

If you want to feel at home and savor typical Abruzzo cuisine presented in a delicious way and prepared with skill and love, this is the right place. The desserts are AMAZING.
