Trattoria La Piccola In Cremona

I had dinner, a first course and a second course. For the second course, I asked for a grilled pork chop, and when it arrived, they handed me this very dry, very small pork chop on a tray. When I went to the cashier, I told them that the meat was overcooked, dry, and small. The answer was, "I'll tell the girl." Oh well!!! Not even a "sorry." No, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Then they complain that they don't work.

My wife and I had lunch at this traditional, historic trattoria in Cremona. It's family-run. The place is a bit out of the way, and the decor is dated, but everything is very clean. We decided to order the daily menu. It includes a first course, a second course with a side dish, and dessert. A small bottle of water, a half-liter of their own white wine, and coffee cost €35 in total. The father is behind the bar, the mother in the kitchen, and the son waits tables. The food is all homemade. The service was attentive and fast. During lunch, we felt like part of the family.

Excellent service and food; sometimes there's a little delay, but it's well worth the wait. A typical, small place with friendly staff. Their white wine is excellent!

Good quality traditional cuisine, family-run, well-prepared; it makes you feel "at home".

A timeless place, a true Osteria with all its strengths and weaknesses. If you're not in a hurry and are happy with what you eat, it's fine. The dishes are good and simple.
