Absolutely the best restaurant in Catania! From the appetizers and the house wine to the homemade dessert, everything is perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. The prices are amazing, especially considering the quality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always helpful. Truly an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended!

The menu is short, the service is at its own pace, the food… tasty, but uninspiring. The portions are small, the atmosphere rather bland—in sunny Sicily, you'd want to feel like a guest, not an extra. I dropped in out of curiosity, ate out of courtesy, and left with a feeling of "okay, but something was missing." Will I return? Definitely and decisively, probably not 🙂

Food is amazing and the service is great as well. People are very kind and extremely good at what they do. The open air terrace is behind the building and it is great sitting there.

The service was very attentive and hospitable. The food was excellent (we tried carbonera and fish of the day). The ambiance welcoming and authentic. Red house wine excellent. Overall excellent value, would really like to try more of the dishes!

Il Noceto dell'Etna

14/09/2025: Everything was good, the service was fast, the location was very nice, authentic, they didn't rip you off, and the food was good. Not the easiest to get to if you don't know Macchia.
12/09/2025: The panoramic view of the Ionian coast, the terrace for summer evenings with live music, and the spacious interior make this place ideal for friends and family. The restaurant is ideal for events or simply for an evening with friends. My group and I, when we're looking for a cool evening and great food, this is the first place we think of. Dario, his wife, and all the staff make you feel at ease. See you next time!!
