Trattoria La Motta In Domodossola

We stopped for lunch, purely by chance because we were passing through... well, what a discovery!! We immediately felt welcomed, even though it was busy; they didn't hesitate and immediately set up a spot for us. They had warned us there would be a bit of a wait, but in reality, they were quick and excellent! The welcome was truly top-notch, as were the dishes; we had an aperitif with cured meats and sweet and sour vegetables (each one better than the last), tortelli, and the Milanese... All delicious! The dessert was a delight... and what can I say about the blueberries picked by the chef?! The quality of the carafe wine amazed us; I'd seriously give it more than 5 stars if I could. The staff was top-notch, super helpful, and made you feel immediately at ease. And when you see that there's a camaraderie and cheerfulness among the staff, well... it's a perfect place! Highly recommended if you're in the area! I would love to have a place like theirs near my house 😁 Congratulations again guys and, please, keep it up, you are amazing!!

A divine place. A lunch of express-cooked dishes, delicious risottos, and even the fish on the menu. And the plums from the owners' garden. How wonderful and how kind. And the rose petal jam. Well done.

Enjoy a delicious meal outside in an idyllic spot

A Domo per il mercato, ritorniamo in questo locale che già conoscevamo. Il menù a 16 euro è interessante, la qualità di quanto mangiato buona. A nostro parere, però, l'acqua (75 cl) a 4.50 euro è inaccettabile. Non ci torneremo più.

Bel locale in piazza deliziosa, con atmosfera fiabesca.Buon servizio, ci hanno accolto Nonostante fossimo un po' in ritardo.Buoni piatti, abbondanti e ben presentati.Un po' alto il costo dell'acqua minerale.

Central location and refined dishes!

We chose this restaurant for a surprise birthday out of town, and it was an excellent idea. Nice, well-kept place, super friendly staff, top chef and exquisite dishes. We asked them to recommend the specialties of Domodossola, which were a splendid combination of flavors and decorations that were very pleasing to the eye. They were also very kind to accommodate our requests for the surprise Absolutely super recommended!
