Trattoria La Miseria In Faenza

We happened upon this lovely trattoria on August 29th at 7:30 PM due to the highway closure. We asked the lady at the cash register if we could grab something quick, and that's when the lady in question's arrogance kicked in. She treated us like unwanted refugees, made us sit at an unset table, and when she finally brought us our food, it was in a bag. My wife, daughter, and I are speechless about this treatment. So much for Romagna hospitality. P.S. When I paid, they accepted my money as if they had received better treatment.

Quaint trattoria between Faenza and Ravenna. A garden under cool, green trees. Super friendly staff, who found us a table even without a reservation. And then the food!!! Unbeatable, simply "Dolce Vita," bella Italia. Sorry, the first photo is from San Marino and can't be deleted.

Vecchia Osteria excellent food, very good first course (cappelletti pasticciati), excellent meat, both grilled and fillet.

For what we paid, the food was poor. Disappointing and rude service. Very nice place.

We tried to make a reservation several times, but they were always full or the phone was always busy. This time we stopped by in person and by chance there was a free table. Nice atmosphere, young and friendly staff, everything was good!!!

I've been coming here every year for a while now, either for my brother's birthday, who lives nearby, or when I visit my family, since I live in Tuscany. I'm sorry about that, because I'd love to come more often. I've always enjoyed every dish I've tried, from the appetizers and meat-based main courses to the vegetarian options like the grilled tomini with grilled vegetables, or the cheese platter with jams. I also enjoyed the caramelized figs, which I hadn't heard of and were a delicious discovery. The pizza is excellent. I've never tried the pasta dishes, as I'm not a pasta fan, but seeing them made me so excited that I can't wait to go back and try them. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, much nicer in the summer, as you can enjoy the garden with its lovely atmosphere. It's not ideal for those who don't like waiting, as the wait can vary depending on how busy the place is or the dishes you choose. It also doesn't have a lot of parking, but other than that, I recommend it.

I ordered takeout. Paglia fieno is super good! Very kind and professional staff. Fast.

Veramente una bella realtà dove mangiare bene ad un prezzo onesto. Fate solo attenzione alle porzioni perché sono abbondanti. Meglio chiedere allo staff sempre disponibilissimo.
