Thank you Ciccio, in your trattoria, on a quiet Wednesday, we tasted the true flavors of the Sicilian hinterland having lunch as if it were a Sunday with the family. After the visit to Palazzolo Acreide, a stop at your restaurant is a must, where authenticity, taste and tradition blend together perfectly.

Recommended by the sacristan of the church of San Paolo, we arrive and recognize the place that had already attracted our attention upon arrival.... It promises well. Well confirmed! Fennel meatballs and caponata palazzolese are good, but the parmigiana deserves a special mention, served in the earthenware pot it is an explosion of flavors. For those who love snails they are also very good. We continue with ricotta ravioli and ragù of pork palazzolese, really super. For the second course we had the grill with sausage and pork palazzolese, also very good. I thought of closing like this because there was no more room ... But how can you say no to the ravioli with fried ricotta 😋 Price adequate for our rich menu. What else to say, try it and believe it!

Caratteristica trattoria in centro città Adobe accolti da personale cordiale e premuroso si possono gustare piatti tipici del luogo , qualità eccellente prezzo giusto, sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Dopo aver goduto a più non posso della bellezza delle facciate degli splendidi palazzi e decori barocchi di Palazzolo Acreide (di gran lunga superiori a tanti altri siti che vengono decantati per il barocco siciliano), per pausa pranzo ci siamo fermati in questa graziosa trattoria ubicata proprio nei pressi del Municipio. Un ambiente sobrio, ma ben curato dove il titolare, il sig. Francesco detto Ciccio, cordiale ed affabile, ti indirizza nella scelta tra la ricca varietà di piatti dandoti utili e preziose indicazioni per gustare al meglio le specialità della cucina. Abbiamo iniziato con dei deliziosi arancinetti al tartufo nero per proseguire con dei gustosi ravioli di ricotta con ragù di maiale. Ravioli fatti genuinamente a mano, con una pasta sottile al punto giusto ed un delizioso ripieno. Buoni anche i cavati allo stesso ragù di maiale ma non altrettanto originali. Il top tuttavia lo abbiamo raggiunto con uno strepitoso stinco di maialino, autentico burro che si è letteralmente sciolto in bocca tanto era delicato e morbido. Un’autentica delizia cucinata in maniera davvero superba. Ricca la cantina anche se noi ci siamo limitati ad una sobria quantità di vino della casa per non incorrere in inutili rischi alcolemici. I prezzi assolutamente nella norma. Da ritornarci senza ombra di dubbio. Per ora, non posso fare a meno di complimentarmi con il sig. Francesco ed il suo staff.
