Accustomed to the stellar standards of Campobasso cuisine, I must say that I was shocked by the welcome. I was with my wife otherwise I would have left. The place was reported to my wife last year by a girl from Riccia and it is a little out of the way from the center so I thought it was only for locals and tourists were not welcome. Rustic style. The menu is on a single sheet, in typewriter characters, the service is rapid, even too fast, the first courses arrive within 5 minutes, the wine is amazing, they tell us it's a Montepulciano. The two first courses were also amazing: Pantacce with vignarola and Crioli galletti. Together with the first courses they bring the bread, delicious, impossible to make any more. Then fennel salad. Excellent. The place opens at 1pm and immediately fills up, we arrived at 12.45pm and the door was closed. The customers speak in dialect with the waiters and they top up the bread for you without asking. In short, apart from the welcome, perfection. Bill 30 euros. A single suggestion for the gentleman who "welcomed" us, just say that the place is full or that the food is too good for non-Molisans.
