Original selection of dishes, with local products. Informal atmosphere in an evocative place. The staff seems distracted but this is not the case. You leave the restaurant with the idea of returning as soon as possible

Beautiful place in the center of Campobasso, no parking. We ate very well, the selection of typical dishes proposed by the owner enchanted us. We concluded with spectacular desserts. Courteous and attentive service. An experience absolutely not to be missed.

An institution, you eat to eat, a typical place with its own correct rules as they make it what it is: unique, original, inimitable, a Campobasso experience to try and enjoy... it's 7.40pm and I'm still full and happy since lunch. For three people €64 full and happy with excellent "zero kilometer" raw materials!!! But what are you looking for more!!????!!!
P. S. The liver sausage baked in foil ooo! What a scent!! With salad and orange.. I LOVE YOU!!! The Frangipane pear chocolate cake is SO GOOD I WANT IT EVERY DAY!!!

Sono stato qui molte volte e ci ritornerò molte volte.
Cucina sempre eccellente, con un occhio di riguardo a quello che si porta in tavola.
Materie prime di qualità, ma non dispensiose.
Territorialita, rispettata in pieno, prezzi modici e ambiente spartano.

UAhO! It was the first time I had dinner in this "cave" in Campobasso and I understood why it is difficult to book. Simply everything too good!! Fantastic! But it's one of those things where you have to reorder almost all the dishes at least twice. Truly everything is extremely fresh, "genuine", exquisite. Simple, pure, original, local. No filters. No fashion. No mincing words and strange names. The "Italian rule" is confirmed that if you eat in a place whose sign bears a familiar name, the probability of having a definitely positive culinary experience is very, very high. We were 8 mix colleagues. Essential menu the way I like it: 1 page and stop. Generally this is the first sign of quantity-quality power! Large starter with onion rings fried in batter (rearranged), pizza and soup (rearranged), orange, fennel and olive salad, caciocavallo. roasted pear salad (crazy!! and rearranged), Caserta pork lonzardo (i.e. a show of fluency! rearranged), fried pumpkin (stupendous! rearranged several times, an exceptional discovery!), cheese and egg pallotte (rearranged). Followed by tagliolini with artichokes, pecorino and lemon. "No, okay, 90 minutes of applause." Devastating stuff that we reordered immediately! I also tried the Crioli with stew sauce. I was moved and happy to have ordered the Stew with sauce next :-) Scarpetta and counter-scarpet with bread that for a moment the waiter doubted whether he had brought the dish. Meanwhile, everything was abundantly and continuously watered with a simple and excellent homemade Tintilia. Too enthusiastic about the discovery and with very happy palates, with some colleagues we also tried the rabbit in porchetta. And here we understood that Zi' Concetta or whoever has made catering a philosophy of life. An exquisite dish! To close, a homemade dessert based on sponge cake which I remember with great pleasure even though I don't like sweets. Well, congratulations and many, many well-deserved applause. I can't wait to return and taste the cod which is said to be made in a unique way here. Crazy quality/price! Having Rome and Milan as a reference, sometimes we are truly speechless, in a positive sense. Thanks so much! Well done!
