Fomos a tratoria após pesquisarmos no TripAdvisor um restaurante próximo ao nosso hotel e que estivesse aberto em uma segunda-feira. Foi uma grata surpresa! A tratoria nos pareceu muito tradicional e familiar ! Fica num recanto escondidinho próximo a praça central. Estava tudo delicioso, desde a entrada - brusquetas mistas - até a sobremesa - tiramissu. Tomamos vinhos em taça pra experimentar as diversas opções de uvas e estavam todos muito bons ! Super recomendo!

If you find yourself visiting Cortona (AR), I recommend this restaurant. The dishes you find are typical Tuscan cuisine. Particular mention for the Chianina tartare with capers, truffle tagliolini and osso bucco. The wine list features interesting labels from local producers to try as an alternative to the more well-known Tuscan labels.

Typical place, traditional dishes but presented in a very accurate way.
Friendly and helpful dining room staff.
You start eating the Grotta appetizer first with your eyes, very varied and plentiful, and are happy to be shared (all excellent). The pecorino flan with onion jam, delicious! Very good tagliatelle with white ragout. Delicious desserts.
Adequate price.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and dedicated and very friendly staff.
As a starter, we ordered the tartare and various pastas, including the pici al fumo and the tortelloni filled with burrata, which were on the daily menu.
The tartare was very tasty and the various pasta dishes also clearly impressed us.
The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauces were very, very good, spicy and fruity and fresh.
A fillet steak was also ordered, which was also convincing. The meat was tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare.
The evening was a real success for us and we can definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had dinner there with friends and I must say that the food was very good. Delicate cold cuts with a free-range flavour. The rustic style restaurant, fortunately with air conditioning on an evening that was 36 degrees outside, and the very kind staff.

Absolutely amazing food. One of the best meals and best values in cortona. We started with the eggplant, best eggplant ever. Hubby had the grilled steak and rosemary potatoes and I had the pici in red spiced sauce. Amazing. For dessert we shared what they called a chocolate soufflé. It was a flourless chocolate cake perfectly cooked. I cannot say enough good things about this place. No pictures because we were busy enjoying it all.

Lovely little restaurant just off the main piazza, great prices and yummy food, steak juicy, lamb chops tender, pici pasta cooked really well, local wine was a treat and all served by a lovely team. Definitely would return.
