Trattoria La Grotta In Finale ligure

Excellent dinner and friendly and kind staff.

We visited La Grotta twice during our stay and enjoyed excellent food both times. The Ligurian-style sea bass, pizza, and spaghetti vongole were highly recommended.

Great food, good price. Extensive menu. We ate there twice. Pizza, pasta, meat, and side dishes. It was all excellent! (: 😀

I went to eat at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We hadn't booked, but they welcomed us right away. Some of the staff didn't speak Italian, but they were friendly. I had trofie alla ligure, and my friend had seafood pasta with bruschetta. The pasta portions were quite large, and the flavor was good. The only downside was that it was full of flies and bugs, one even crawling around on the table. I understand, but the bug lights were on, BUT they weren't on. All in all, it was nice, but not my first choice. The price was medium-low.

Great place, the staff wasn't the friendliest. Let's just say a smile every now and then doesn't hurt! Spaghetti with clams was delicious. It's a shame it was spaghetti in clam shells because there were really very few of them!!

I stopped here for a quick dinner and was very pleased. The pizza is thin, well-cooked, and made with fresh ingredients. The dishes are also tasty and the portions are adequate. The place is simple but welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. At busy times, the wait can be a bit long, but overall the service is good. Prices are average for the area. I recommend this place for a pleasant dinner with friends.

We've been coming to Finale on summer vacation for years, and only discovered La Grotta last year. This was our second time eating here, and this time we brought my sister and her boyfriend. IT'S ALWAYS A GUARANTEE. The owners are wonderful and truly polite people. (The young people who work there are also extremely kind, which isn't typical for everyone.) A selection of appetizers, each one better than the last, both vegetable and non-vegetarian (we absolutely recommend the caramelized figs with goat cheese, it's amazing). Everything is homemade. The first courses are also delicious; we had the ravioli with meat sauce (delicious), pappardelle with pesto (exceptional), Ligurian-style rabbit, and tagliolini with wild boar. The prices are very fair and clear because everything is listed on the menu (especially compared to some places in the center of Finale, where the quality/price ratio is terrible). What can I say... congratulations to businesses like this, where catering is still a passion (and not rudeness or arrogance). BRAVO!

First time at La Grotta! A very nice place, very friendly owners, and truly delicious food! If you're looking for a trattoria where you can eat good, home-cooked food and spend a fun evening with friends, come here! Highly recommended!

Ottima trattoria con pasta fresca fatta in casa super, servizio cortese e location suggestiva. Con più di un piatto a testa e vino a volontà abbiamo speso sui 35€ cad, quindi prezzo onesto. Consigliato.

Qualche giorno fa siamo andati a mangiare alla trattoria La Grotta, che si trova sull'Altipiano delle Manie, sopra Finale Ligure. È stata una scoperta davvero piacevole: un posto bellissimo, con tanto fascino. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene e ci siamo trovati alla grande. Abbiamo iniziato con un misto di antipasti della casa, che comprendeva: giardiniera di verdure sott’olio, bruschetta classica, bruschetta piccante, insalata russa, frittelle campagnole e formaggetta. Poi abbiamo preso delle pappardelle ai funghi e dei ravioli al ragù di Fassona. Per finire, come dolce, abbiamo assaggiato dei fichi caramellati e caprino. Il locale è davvero bello, sia dentro che fuori, ed è stato tutto ristrutturato di recente. Per quanto riguarda la distanza da Finale, ci vogliono circa 20 minuti di macchina. La signora Marisa, che è la proprietaria del locale, è davvero simpatica e gentile. Il servizio è veloce e tutto il personale è gentilissimo, ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio.
