Beautiful and typically Tuscan location, albeit a bit forced.
The dishes are traditional, but unfortunately revisited as gourmet tastings, which in my opinion has lost the true essence of the "typical Tuscan dish."
The waiters were truly friendly and attentive to all our requests, and it's thanks to them that I didn't give it a two-star rating.
The lighting was a bit too dim, so much so that they even added a table lamp to at least read the menu...
The overall price, in my opinion, is a bit above what I expected.
This is definitely a place I won't be returning to.

A pleasant evening with friends. Everything was excellent, from appetizers to desserts, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Friendly and attentive service, with a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

This Tuscan trattoria is a charming place, where the cuisine is made with love and dedication. The appetizers are a true delight, featuring fresh, local ingredients. The first courses are prepared with care and attention, with sauces and condiments that enhance the flavor of the pasta. The second courses are a true specialty, with perfectly cooked meats. We went to Trattoria La Gargotta for dinner and lunch. The place was beautiful, the staff very welcoming, kind, attentive, and professional.
Excellent cuisine, and the chef was brilliant. He delighted us with delicious local dishes, such as pici with duck ragù, ricotta and spinach gnudi with butter and sage, pumpkin cream soup, and beef stew sautéed with onion.
Kudos to the owner, who, despite the place being packed both days, managed to find us a table without hesitation. The laurino was delicious!

Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. It delivers what it promises for a trattoria. The dining room is a bit crowded on Sundays.

A very pleasant surprise. We booked by chance because we were at the tennis center nearby, and among the nearby restaurants, La Gargotta appeared. A rustic and welcoming place, the staff were extremely friendly, but above all, the food deserves its 5 stars. EXCELLENT. The first courses were exceptional, the rabbit sublime. Congratulations. We'll be back. The weather wasn't suitable for lunch outside, but having a terrace to enjoy made us want to repeat the experience.

Excellent restaurant with a view of Florence, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff, delicious and plentiful food, it was a wonderful discovery. Prices are moderately high, but worth it.
