Trattoria "La Finestrella" In Bologna

I got here because it was one of the very few places open at Christmas Day and am only leaving this review (something I never do) because I’m pretty surprised by the other reviews. I’m a tourist and was treated well (we always try to speak italian even though it’s very obvious we can barely grasp it). Arrived here at 2pm, food was great, dishes were BIG and delicious, staff was pleasant. Granted, our first experience in Bologna, but are leaving very satisfied :)

We went for the Christmas lunch and everything was just perfect! Great food, great atmosphere & superb service! Highly recommended.

The prices are disproportionate to the quantity and quality of the food. Charging for two coffees at the end is truly shameful. Absolutely not recommended; in Bologna, for that price, you can eat much better and more at other trattorias.

I had lunch here with my friend from Rome, and with the magnificent location and equally magnificent food, we had a wonderful lunch. Special thanks to Elisa, our waitress, who was fantastic and very good ❤️

Good food in the area with many trattorias - tried tagliolini with mushrooms and pork shank - no complaints - the little window refers to one of Bologna's secret places (a small window - to be opened - overlooking a stream)

Yes, the food is good. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the tenerino dessert. Served warm, soft, and topped with mascarpone. A delight!
