It's hard to say; almost all the tables were empty, but upon entering, we were informed that the first available table would be available in an hour. We didn't wait.

Simply tradition and innovation. Both classic local dishes and new interpretations. From appetizers to dessert, you can taste both the quality of the ingredients and the passion in preparing the dishes. The wine selection is also excellent. The location is brand new and impeccably furnished. The friendliness and professionalism of the wait staff is enviable. I highly recommend at least two or three visits to the restaurant to sample the various menu options.

Last night we dined at the restaurant's newly relocated building.
The location is in a well-maintained and newly designed residential area on the outskirts of Ferrara. Indeed, the restaurant was built recently.
They have a very spacious outdoor area, with the option of dining under the veranda. We dined inside, which is also very spacious, with a ground floor and a mezzanine area.
The interior is very pleasant; modern and newly designed, yet with a rustic feel.
The three young women in the dining room are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The menu is interesting and fairly basic. Four appetizers, six or seven first and second courses. The wine list is quite extensive and excellent. We were also offered some off-menu options, which I always appreciate.
For two, we ordered battered zucchini flowers with burrata on the side (off the menu), bigoli al torchio with duck ragù and salted ricotta, tortellini cacio e pepe with matriciana sauce, skewered bombette with roasted potatoes, gratinated vegetables, zuppa inglese, and a cup of house wine.
The zucchini flowers weren't battered but breaded. Delicious, but simply fried.
The bigoli al torchio were delicious and simple.
Tortellini cacio e pepe alla matriciana were a discovery. A truly interesting contrast with the sweetness of the matriciana sauce (really delicious) and the robustness of the pecorino with pepper.
Pork coppa bombette with minced meat and provola served on a skewer. Delicious, but alas, raw inside, and even on the outside in these cases. I had to leave half of it out because raw pork is unreliable...
The gratin vegetables were very appetizing, with a subtle yet flavorful and unobtrusive gratin.
The trifle made with Ferrarese brazadela (a type of cheese) served in a jar was delicious, with just the right amount of Alchermes. If I had to find a flaw, it's that the flavors of the cream and chocolate cream were a bit lost in each other.
We spent less than 30 euros each, which is truly a great thing.
My rating would be 4.5, but I'm happy to give it 5 stars.

Sunday Ferrara 11:45, where are we eating? never been here!!. We find this trattoria, local cuisine!!!?. "La Ferrarese". We call, and after 20 minutes we arrive.
Welcomed by Sara (host), with Mattia (chef) in the new location inaugurated on Thursday.
Sara with cordial professionalism and competence, listed the dishes on the menu and off the menu, suggesting a wine suitable for our choice.
And the dishes..what can I say, homemade bread, excellent menu, captivating desserts, wine list with a good choice, all in an informal place furnished in urban style, pampered by the staff, competent and discreet.
We felt at home, when we are in the area we will definitely stop here.

Viaggio di lavoro e davvero un'ottima sorpresa trovare questo luogo con un perfetto connubio di sapori e piatti anche un po' ricercati. Ottimo antipasto con tigelle con crema di pistacchio, formaggi con riduzione e marmellata. I cappellacci ripieni, favolosi... onestamente mi hanno riempito, considerato che arriva pane fresco fatto in casa e anche un piccolo antipastino offerto di crema di topinambur. Tutto ottimo anche il dolce... ritornerò con la famiglia.

Semplicemente fantastici! Cibo ottimo, personale gentilissimo! Sono stati super carini con il mio bimbo di 8 mesi e si son offerti di scaldarmi la pappa e mi hanno addirittura lavato le stoviglie! Altra cosa molto importante…c’è il fasciatoio!!! Ci tornerò sicuramente
