Interesting dishes. I recommend cappelletti with Voghiera DOP black garlic and swordfish steak, followed by a refreshing mango sorbet. Excellent wine and excellent service. The egg in paradise with truffle was a real treat. There's plenty of free parking in the area.

A historic trattoria, recently relocated to the Via Canapa area. Informal atmosphere. Smiling and friendly staff. Traditional dishes, some with a modern twist. Perhaps a bit too good a value.

A very charming trattoria on the outskirts of Ferrara. The atmosphere is very warm and brand new. Regarding the food, the things I wasn't sold on were the quality of the homemade pasta, which was very smooth and slippery (both the tortellini in broth and the purple tagliatelle). From a trattoria in Emilia Romagna, I would have expected properly rolled pasta; and the red wine list was limited to only bottles of Lambrusco (and not a single Sorbara was on the list, but it had run out). Prices and service were average.

01/03/2026: Fantastic restaurant for Ferrarese dishes! The restaurant is beautifully located within the city walls, where cultivated fields still stand. When you step outside, you find yourself in the heart of the historic center. It takes advantage of the renovated stables, with a modern style. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food service is beautifully decorated; I really enjoyed it. The wine menu complements the dishes and offers regional wines. They offer cappelletti and capellaci, purée and salami for sauce, and zuppa inglese. Fantastic!
25/02/2026: A Sunday unlike any other, a family lunch with grandparents in tow. We chose this place after reading some very positive reviews. The atmosphere is refined and sophisticated, with a modern contrast from the past. The dishes are exquisitely crafted, and the staff is attentive with excellent suggestions for the dishes. Special thanks to Mauro and Nicola, not to mention the other staff. A truly wonderful Sunday. Highly recommended.

02/03/2026: A pleasant atmosphere, courteous and prompt service, and a varied and appealing selection. In practice, however, Tomini disappointed me a bit, apart from the taste: in the radicchio, pancetta, and gorgonzola crescione, the radicchio flavor largely overpowered the other flavors, which were barely noticeable. Furthermore, the dough was a bit bland and too dry for my palate. As for the sweet crescioncini (I chose the Nutella and coconut one), I found the crust a bit too generous for the filling.
