We were once rustic and well-kept environment. Good home-made food, price a little high. We took 1 appetizer 2 first courses 2 second courses 2 bottles of water 87 euros all in all the quality was good

Wonderful confirmation. We were at La Corteccia for the third time with a large group. Excellent food, with a particular mention for the sliced ​​beef, and very kind and attentive staff. Attractive and functional location, with ample parking.

Passing by I saw this restaurant and stopped, when we arrived they made us sit down immediately, taking care to bring us water and bread straight away, then ordering straight away, but it was a shame that they then made us wait 40 minutes before bringing the 2 cockerels to the brick, which were excellent, accompanied with artichokes and fried potatoes. Good restaurant with nice dishes and friendly staff, just a little speed is missing in the kitchen. Compliments

04/05/2025: Tavolata di 20, quindi non facile gestione. Lui bravissimo, tipico toscano padrone di casa quasi intrattenitore! Assaggio di tutto, menù quasi da matrimonio… e per soli 35€ a testa! Consigliato per venirci dalla Versilia… da rifare!!

Rusticanella 2 " da Luca"

13/05/2025: I was in this place in April 2025. I was passing through Lucca and wanted to eat a bit of “Tuscany”: given the many reviews I thought “it will be a commercial place”. Not at all!! Luca was able to carry on the Tuscan tradition with top quality products prepared in a truly authentic way! Small place, which in my opinion is an added value: you can chat if the person at the next table is well-disposed. Welcoming. The staff is truly smiling, helpful, kind! The dishes I had that evening really taste authentic: the raw Tuscan sausage with crispy bruschetta, the Tuscan tripe and the cantucci with vin santo really taste of the love they put into preparing it! Congratulations to Luca and all the staff: you deserve all the many reviews! I would absolutely recommend it!!
