I have been to this campsite on two occasions, once in a tent, once in a mobile home. The pitches are large and easily accessible and the bathroom/shower area is very clean. The swimming pools are also clean, here too there is ample space for everyone (even on weekends although the swimming pools are open to outsiders). Everywhere (at the receptionist, at the small restaurant that offers some simple dishes, in the pool bar, in interactions with the lifeguards) I found a lot of friendliness and helpfulness. Excellent both for exploring the area spending nights in the cool (at the end of July, I slept in a light sleeping bag in the tent), and for relaxing and sunbathing.

Good pitches with electricity, water, sink. Toilets without coat hooks, no shelves. Internet almost non-existent. It's just fine for one night. Otherwise less recommended.

Great campsite, large pitches and if you like swimming, 3 beautiful swimming pools, including a large shallow pool for the little ones and sun loungers with shade. Friendly and helpful staff, handy tap with sink near the tent, train station (close by car) for Florance and other cities. We enjoyed it there, highly recommended!!!

We stayed one night with our camper. Everything was great. The campsite is huge and with a lot of shade. It has three very large pools with cool water to cool off! The kindness of the campsite managers, both Marco and his partner, took great care of us, showing us which were the best restaurants and activities in the area. A very beautiful campsite in the middle of Tuscany! We will repeat without a doubt 🫶🏼

Caffe La Saletta

15/08/2024: After a nice wander around Cortona, looking for a shady corner where to rest our oozing carcasses, we ended up settling on the terrace of a small café that had just opened. It was at Caffé la Saletta (translation: the small room?!) that we ordered coffee and peach ice tea. The little waitress, incidentally friendly, brought us a coffee... and a local lemon tea, saying it was really good. Stunned by the fait accompli, we accepted the proposal and, my time, the cold drink was good. As I went to powder my nose, I appreciated the beauty of the place: well-kept, clean, "cosy" (I don't really like this anglicism, but for lack of anything better). As I passed the cash register, I went to pay my dues: €2 + €4 = suspense... €6. Also, when leaving, I couldn't remember a little expression that we have, in the south (of France): Oh, stupid...
