Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches and a water hookup with a sink at each pitch. Exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff in several languages. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Respect for the previous owner, who took back his campsite after the mismanagement of the short-lived new owner. I'm confident this campsite can regain a top position. 👍

The campsite is very spacious. Pitches have some shade and plenty of shade. Previous reviews already mentioned that the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but clean. The campsite was practically empty (September). It was the end of the season, and the swimming pool was now closed. It did have a nice, large pool, though. Very friendly people at reception. They speak English, which isn't often seen at Italian campsites. In June, there was a shop and restaurant. The owner left after a month. Next year, the bar owner will take over. That will give the campsite a boost. It's an excellent base in Tuscany. There are plenty of opportunities to walk and off-leash dogs next to the campsite.

The campsite is highly regarded because of the incredibly friendly people. There's still room for improvement; the photos and information on the website currently paint a rather rosy picture. Unfortunately, the swimming pool has been out of service since last week, at the end of the season. There's no shop or restaurant within walking distance. Opposite reception, however, there's now a small bar serving coffee and croissants in the morning. Bread can be ordered the night before. The pitches are spacious, there's plenty of shade, and the sanitary facilities are a bit dated but clean. If you have a car, the campsite is a perfect base for exploring charming villages in the area. Reception has excellent tips and ideas.

We stayed at Camping la Chiocciola in May 2025, and it was amazing! The amenities were already open, including the pools, the friendly staff, the facilities and bathrooms were always clean and operational, and the pitches were super shaded and spacious. We also went on a trek recommended by the campsite staff; it was beautiful and surrounded by nature! The value for money was excellent, we'll definitely be back!

We spent three days at the campsite. It was very quiet, the facilities were clean, and there was a huge pool to enjoy. The campsite staff was very attentive, especially Diana, a lovely person. Highly recommended. I wish you all the best. Thank you for everything.

A great campsite with spacious, shady pitches. The restrooms are a bit dated (and sometimes a few things are broken), but they are cleaned thoroughly every day. Don't be alarmed by the beetles in the evenings! However, the restaurant and camping shop were closed during our seven days there. This wasn't communicated, and no compensation was given. Apparently, the tenant had suddenly left. The swimming pool was fine during our visit, and with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, it was wonderful. It is busy on weekends; it's a public pool, so arrive early!

We had a fantastic few days at this campsite and couldn't be happier with our choice. Our stay was memorable for several reasons, and we would like to highlight a few that we found particularly positive. Firstly, the pitches are truly exceptional. Their size is ideal, as they offer generous and private space. In addition, the amount of shade provided by the trees is a real luxury, especially during the hottest hours, which is very much appreciated in Tuscany in the summer. A detail that we loved and that makes life much more comfortable is the private sink on the pitch itself, ideal for washing dishes without having to queue or go to the toilets. The campsite facilities are very well maintained, but what we liked the most were the swimming pools. They are perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring or simply to relax and enjoy the sun. In addition, the cleanliness is impeccable throughout the site, including the toilets, an aspect that we value very much and that demonstrates the good maintenance of the place. The tranquility that can be breathed in the campsite is total. The atmosphere is ideal for resting and disconnecting from the noise and stress of daily life. We want to make a special mention of the kindness and professionalism of the receptionist. From the first moment she made us feel at home and helped us with all our needs with a smile. Finally, the location of the campsite is excellent. It is the perfect base for discovering the wonderful Tuscany. We were able to visit incredible places without having to travel long distances. We definitely recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay in Tuscany. We will definitely be back!

We've been to this campsite twice. The mobile home is very nice, with air conditioning, etc. There are three swimming pools and a poolside bar for food and drinks. The reception is also adequate. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed; we hope it will be taken over and reopened. The campsite shop is closed. You can go to the bar 500 meters further in the village and get bread there, within walking distance. Cash is preferred. There was supposed to be entertainment, but unfortunately, it didn't materialize.

Beautiful, there are pitches in full shade and in partial shade, beautiful swimming pools and clean bathrooms, it's a shame that this year there is no market, however about 4km away there is a coop, we went by bike, for those passing through it is a relaxing stop.
