Mrs. Giulia and her husband are for me the best you can find in the area: courtesy, kindness and good food. If you are in the area I recommend a stop, you won't regret it.

Very clean place, good parking, and the prices (fairly low) are in line with the food. The cold cuts were commercial, the first course (tagliatelle) was good, a bit oily, the second course (chicken cacciatore) was quite good, a home-style chicken, with too much oil. I recommend it if you want to eat well and spend little.

The location is very reminiscent of the 80s, but everything is clean and tidy, by mistake they brought me a dish I didn't order but it can happen... personally I didn't find a great variety of dishes, in fact the menu doesn't have much to choose from, obviously I'm speaking for my tastes

Finally, an Umbrian restaurant that truly celebrates tradition. I stumbled upon it online and found dishes cooked as they once were, and above all, as they should be. The staff were incredibly friendly. It's like something from another era. Congratulations!

We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance during our vacation in and around Terni. We were delighted with the delicious, authentic dishes, the atmosphere, and the owners, who were very kind and helpful. We highly recommend it.

Here's another review, striving, as always, to be completely objective. I chose this trattoria because it has been in business for many years; my father recommended it to me because he used to go there for lunch when he was a salesman. Let's start with the menu, which is fairly classic, featuring traditional Umbrian and Terni/Narni cuisine. Let's get straight to the point, let's get to the heart of the matter: the quality of the food isn't among the best I've tried for home-style cooking, but it's still good. I enjoyed the homemade pasta (tagliatelle) with the very tasty duck sauce. The truffle tortellini, on the other hand, was a forgettable dish, primarily because of the pasta: tortellini were too small with a meager filling. With a first course like this, you'd better have larger, tastier tortelli. The (summer) truffle wasn't very flavorful. But above all, the biggest flaw of all the courses is the quantity of food served. The portions are too small. We're in a trattoria, not a gourmet restaurant, and you expect to eat abundantly, as is right. €12 for a meager appetizer with very few cured meats, three mini bruschettas, and a small plate of spelt that was a spoonful (what does spelt have to do with a home-style appetizer?). As I mentioned, the first courses were very small in portions, and this made me I turned up my nose because I was expecting a home-made meal, the old-fashioned way. I was so hungry that I ordered a second course, chicken cacciatore...and that's where the problem lies!!! Another starving portion: 5 tiny pieces of bone-in chicken. €10 for roughly 30 grams of meat with all the chicken bones removed. It's not like that! The flavor was certainly tasty, and you could taste the homemade ingredients, but I came to eat in a trattoria, not to sample and spend almost €90 for three people with an 8-year-old daughter. Finally, let's move on to dessert. The homemade zuppa inglese was noteworthy, truly good, and a decent portion. The tiramisu, on the other hand, is absolutely not recommended. It didn't even come through, and it wasn't even the slightest bit of tiramisu, but something indefinable. I don't think I'll return because the experience was sufficient, but for that price, you can eat better and have larger portions. €7.50 cover charge for 4 slices of bread, no way!!! I hope this review can be useful to others as well. You know what you're getting into, and I remind you that I'm a "professional" reviewer, so you can rest assured. Enjoy your meal, everyone. P.S. The management's response is typical of those who attack the reviewer instead of objectively examining the review, where I, moreover, spoke of good quality, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. Therefore, the response is useless and unsatisfactory, and this unfortunately happens when one lacks the humility to face constructive criticism. Unfortunately, I know the industry and the ingredients well, and I can evaluate the entire restaurant context with judgment.

Cucina tipica ternana. Piatti gustosi ed abbondanti. Un camino fantastico dove viene cotta la carne alla brace. Personale con esperienza e molto cordiale. Posto molto accogliente con sala climatizzata. Consigliato.

Siamo stati alla trattoria Le Cerqueette a Narni e ne siamo usciti entusiasti! Un luogo che racchiude tutta l’anima dell’Umbria: accoglienza genuina, atmosfera familiare e cucina tradizionale da leccarsi i baffi. Abbiamo provato il cinghiale, tenerissimo e saporito, e una faraona semplicemente spaziale, cotta alla perfezione e ricca di gusto. La cortesia dei gestori ti fa sentire a casa e completa un’esperienza davvero speciale. Un vero gioiello per chi cerca sapori autentici e tradizione. Torneremo sicuramente!
