Great place. I stopped in San Severo for work. Very kind and attentive service without being overbearing. After 600 kilometers and three heavy business meetings, it was a great dinner to relax in. Fantastic food 👍.

A wonderful discovery, I came to San Severo to visit loved ones at the cemetery and stopped one day and, on the recommendation, we had dinner in this well-kept little place. On the advice of the very kind owner, we tried two appetizers, a very delicate first course for two (sedanini with peas, mushrooms and bacon, then a glazed roast with potatoes and two local sweets). As for the wine, as I don't drink much and am the only one, I had a glass of Troia (fragrant). A place to recommend!

I was passing by and was really struck by the name La Cantinella, the beautiful atmosphere accompanied by relaxing music. Excellent food, I recommend it to everyone.

Traditional cuisine, everything delicious and carefully prepared. We brought some friends from the Marche region, and they really enjoyed it. From appetizer to dessert, everything was top-notch.

Buon locale pulito e presentato molto bene. Piatti tipici del sud, pasta fresca con prodotti a Km 0. Bere locale e servizio professionale. Prezzi contenuti, parcheggio nei paraggi a pagamento. Ristorante molto consigliato. Luglio 2025.

08/02/2026: Always happy to return, despite the years, the Giardino di Monsignore restaurant and beach club remain a guarantee of taste, elegance, and excellent value. A little more attention to customer service from the dining room staff would be welcome.
13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 10/11/2025: During our pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo on November 9, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. We were greeted with a smile and a warmth that made us feel right at home. The lunch was excellent: authentic, plentiful dishes, all served with great attention by the waiters, who were kind and timed perfectly for a large group like ours. The atmosphere is ideal for sharing a moment of conviviality and serenity among pilgrims. Special thanks to the owner, Antonio, for his availability, his daughter, and the staff. Highly recommended for those visiting San Giovanni Rotondo who want to enjoy excellent local cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
