Trattoria La Campagnola In Castellabate

My review could end right away by saying that this is a true trattoria. But I want to clarify what I mean. First of all, the dishes, cooked simply, without gimmicks, without unnecessary additions, in short, cooked as they do (or used to do) at home. The baked fusilli with mozzarella and ragù reminded me of my childhood meals: simple, tasty, and filling. The meat (veal) main courses and side dishes were also delicious and flavorful. Then there's the ambiance, simple and simple, but with attentive and attentive service. In short, a true trattoria!

Wonderful place, I would say rustic in terms of cuisine. Family atmosphere. Dishes change daily depending on what is available. This is something I love and it makes me want to go eat there every day. The food is truly genuine and without too much manipulation. We enjoyed every dish, starter, first course (incredible), second course and even the side dish... right down to the local amaro. Everything excellent. If we also want to talk about the bill, two of us paid less than half of what we normally pay in a restaurant! I believe these are the restaurants we need in Cilento
