Small restaurant in a typical location, menu not very extensive but given the family preparation it is understandable. Very good food, I absolutely recommend the pasta (made by them) with mushrooms and lamb chops, generous portions. The service is excellent, the waiter (owner) is always available and friendly. More than amazing quality/quantity/price ratio. In summary, an excellent choice for a quality meal at a reasonable price.

On recommendation we tried the trattoria la botte and it was a unique experience, starting from the owner's welcome. Excellent food, quality and quantity. Highly recommended, unique kindness and impeccable hospitality.

It was our welcome to BADOLATO! The simplicity and excellence of the products always pay off, combined with the skill in doing simple things like they used to. Tagliatelle With fresh porcini mushrooms, heavenly! Stuffed aubergine of a high standard and very generous portions. The owner was warm, welcoming and thoughtful. Before leaving, another stop is a must! Thanks for everything

Wonderful authentic experience! The owner was very friendly and service exceptional. We had delicious homemade pasta and afterwards stuffed aubergines simple but amazing.

good restaurant with friendly owner and mother in the kitchen, few dishes for home cooking, good typical Calabrian appetizer and house wine. excellent homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms and stuffed aubergines. final limoncello 25 euros each fair price.

Having returned to the beautiful Badolato, I consider myself lucky to have found a place in this characteristic place, in which we appreciated the goodness, authenticity and above all the simplicity of Calabrian cuisine, all accompanied by the friendliness of the owner. Highly recommended

21/08/2024: An interesting food and wine experience. The Abruzzino restaurant knows how to harmonize Calabrian tradition with innovation, especially for those who choose to try the 6 or 8 course menu. Personally, I greatly appreciated the friendliness of the service and the ability to satisfy some of my food requests. Some notes: definitely try the desserts. In particular, grandmother's snack based on bread and oil (made with ice cream cream), crouton and a milk cream base. Followed by the coconut foam sprinkled with chilli pepper and filled with blackberry ice cream. The serving of ice cream sticks is interesting and playful, where you could see some pairings of flavours. I wasn't fully convinced by the minimal style (too much) of the place and instead I would have preferred it to be more welcoming and lively in colour. Pet friendly venue.
