Trattoria-type place, in fact a narrow corridor between two streets, also in a beautiful area of ​​Pistoia to be seen especially in the evening, with narrow alleys and dark stone facades. The owner is active and humorous, and the non-Italian waitress is polite and quick. Unsophisticated but solid and substantial food. Somewhat generic appetizers of cured meats, two types of crostini, trays of pickles, polenta croquettes with mushrooms, beans; but very abundant first courses, especially the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms which literally sold like hot cakes. Second course of roasted ham, too much, and given back to diners in doggy bags. Closing with Prato cantucci served in paper cups. Very advantageous prices, recommended to those who are hungry.

Thumbs down and I'm sorry. We had a stewed wild boar that tasted wild, with some unthinkable fried mushrooms, fried with corn flour, so tasteless (as for the mushroom) that we left them, since it felt like we were eating tacos. Despite the report, they made us pay for it, with the plate left practically full, and I didn't like this choice at all. The marinated Chianina dish, however, is good. The beans in the flask were undercooked.

I will definitely be back! I had the opportunity to have lunch in this small but welcoming inn, the environment is quiet and the service proceeds fluently, I particularly appreciated the menu which presents typical Tuscan particularities revisited in a pleasant way. I will be back to try other dishes! The value for money for what is offered is good and reasonable.

Sono andata a Pistoia con due mie amiche per il concerto di Tommaso Paradiso ed io avevo il compito di scegliere il locale per la cena... Soddisfatte! Affettati di qualità, piatti sfiziosi e buon vino della casa. Gentile la proprietaria e carinissimo il locale... Noi abbiamo scelto di cenare all'aperto e se il posto fuori è molto semplice lo hanno reso comunque invitante e ospitale. Lo consiglio! E spero di tornarci...

Questo locale appena fuori dal centro, ha spazi all’interno e tavoli fuori, dove noi abbiamo preferito accomodarci. Menù non troppo ricco ma disponibilità secondo i gusti dei clienti (per esempio noi abbiamo chiesto un piatto di soli crostini che non era presente nel menù). La tagliata come piatto principale l’ho trovata deliziosa. Prezzi buoni.

Este restaurante fue fantástico. Llegamos totalmente fuera de hora por un retraso nuestro, nos esperaron y tuvimos una atención casi exclusiva. Una pasta muy rica, totalmente de elaboración en el momento que nos encantó. Trato y atención muy cercanos. En resumen, un restaurante totalmente recomendable.

27/11/2024: I was there for lunch. I had some pappardelle with wild boar ragù, excellent and served quickly. The peculiarity is that the ragù is not minced but with the meat cut with a knife. But not only that: this place offers only fresh pasta first courses and the pappardelle pasta I tried was actually good. Then I had redone chops as a second course (basically, a breaded chop sautéed in tomato and caper sauce). Good and plentiful. All accompanied by a glass of house Sangiovese. Prices from the historic center. The nice atmosphere and the attentive and fast service.
