Trattoria la Baracchina In San casciano in val di pesa

La Baracchina is a restaurant I always enjoy returning to in the summer. The temperature is always cool and the atmosphere is decidedly pleasant. The food is excellent, and I think the portions have become more generous compared to last year. The only area for improvement (in my opinion) would be the speed of service, which suffers when the restaurant is full, as it was for me. The wait isn't a problem for me, but it can be for some. The prices are slightly higher than average, but so is the quality of the food.

What a great discovery, I can't wait to go back! We ate very well, the location is suggestive (thanks also to the storm that made everything more magical), smiling and friendly staff but above all the rosticciana test, passed!!!

Three stars because smiling is not enough to offer good service. The location is very pleasant, the food is very good but the welcome is very poor and the service is also a bit poor. Everything was very technological when booking and even though we had chosen 2:00 pm, they moved us to 2:30 pm. When we arrived, however, to our surprise, the waiter told us that the kitchen closed immediately after and we had to order quickly. We tried to integrate lunch by asking for something else, but no way, the kitchen was closed. The owner, perhaps a bit presumptuous, influences the very unhelpful staff. It must be said that when paying at 3:30 pm, the employees were all happily eating together with the kitchen active. The waiter, probably teetotal, although very sure of himself, listed the cork, screw or crown closure as a characteristic of the wine. A complete meal for one person from appetizer to dessert, 74.50 euros, not bad for a "food delivery" style restaurant.

The location is really beautiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The service is friendly, although the dishes are quite slow to come out. Unfortunately, the quality-price ratio leaves much to be desired: neither the menu nor the costs are really in line with the experience. The impression is that the prices are adapting more to the expectations of a foreign public than to those of the local clientele.

We had a wonderful evening there. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant with the trees providing freshness, and the staff was friendly. A wonderful discovery.

A hidden gem in a remote Tuscan village, Percussina. The food is truly sublime, the service excellent, and the location very pleasant. Definitely a place to return to!

Cena ottima, tradizionale e originale al tempo stesso. Tutto squisito, anche l'atmosfera nella bellissima scenografia naturale che offrono le vetrate sul bosco. Ottima anche l'accoglienza. Un punto di riferimento per sapori vecchi e nuovi da gustare serenamente in compagnia.
