Historic trattoria in Val Liona. I came with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Expectations were high because I had already come in the past with my parents.
Elegant and silent environment. Friendly, polite dining room staff. Excellent choice of wines, with a respectable cellar.
Traditional dishes are revisited in a modern key. We opted for: hen in saor (exceptional), lasagne with datterini tomatoes, guinea fowl with cherries (never tried but a successful combination) and Florentine steak (excellent quality meat, which is shown before being cooked), citrus ice cream and cantucci in the coffee with eggnog ice cream (my husband loved it!).
Prices of the dishes are fair in relation to the undisputed quality of the raw materials, 4 stars because, in my opinion, the cover charge needs to be reduced, 5 euros each is a lot, even if breadsticks and homemade bread are served.
Trattoria noted among our top, next time I will come for the Florentine steak.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff, nice menu, really good dishes, above average, very hospitable even towards four-legged friends, correct prices, the only flaw in my opinion is the service is a little slow but still attentive.

Historic trattoria where you can find traditional dishes, sometimes revisited in a more modern and gourmet key but without losing authenticity.
The preparation and use of quality ingredients is appreciated.

Nice place and very friendly staff, they accompanied us to the cellar to choose the wine.
Very good dishes, prices a little high, but average for places like this.

Historic restaurant that preserves traditional recipes. The Vicenza-style cod is excellent. We tried stockfish in all ways and a truly delicious pappardelle with mushrooms and asparagus. Good wines and attentive service... not to be missed

Piatti buonissimi, e con abbinamenti creativi e (nel mio caso) azzeccatissimi, con personale gentile e disponibile.
Location tradizionale e ben curata, nella tranquillità della Val Liona, comunque facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada.
Prezzi adeguati alla qualità (e quantità) ma non esagerati.
