Small nice restaurant in a small side street. The most delicious food and good service. Good atmosphere and at a very affordable price. The waiter was very attentive and good at recommending/guiding and telling about the food

Dined here late July 2025, family of 5 adults and two kids aged 6 and 9, having been recommended by friends. Price point is a notably lower than most surrounding restaurants. Restaurant appearance inviting but lacking the bells and whistles of other restaurants, but that’s fine with us, as long as food and service is good. Very happy with the standard of both, so much so we broke our rule of not going back to the same place twice. Steak with Gorgonzola was excellent, quality cut cooked perfectly. Pizzas were excellent and a big hit with the kids, “best pizzas” they’d ever had apparently. Lasagne was excellent, far better than others we’d had in Rome, perfect balance of ingredients. Service really made the experience that much better. Unfortunately, didn’t get their names but both nights we were serviced by staff who made us feel so welcome and had banter with our kids - that little extra effort that always make the experience for diners (and especially their kids) memorable. Only reason we didnt give 5 star for atmosphere is because the location isn’t exactly the best although they make the most of what alfresco dining area they have, so it was still enjoyable. Literally the only criticism, at a stretch, is the Caprese Salad was a bit tight on Basil.

We were seated outside, the road is not too busy with cars. Waiter was friendly but perhaps he had too many tables to handle by himself, because he was a bit all over the place with the orders. Our main courses were not delivered at the same time, so my partner finished her pizza before my pasta was delivered. The prices were fair. Pasta amatriciana tasted nice.

no notes! great food and atmosphere. pizza is very roman style and thin. really good. staff are very helpful and heard them speaking multiple languages. lovely servers. very quick service food arrived very quickly.

Be careful with the waiter, MANUEL. He wants to be nice and then ADD things to the bill that you DIDN'T order. So, be careful before paying the bill. If you pay by card, don't be charged the same thing TWICE. The SAME MAN (bald) at the register is doubling the payment, saying he didn't use his card the first time. But for the rest, the food is very good.

Very, very good and at a competitive price. The tiramisu is the best I've ever tried. It's a little hot, though, but it's worth it.

I tried both the pizza and pasta at Trattoria al Tettarello, the taste was okay, but nothing particularly special for me. It’s a very busy place, and you have to go to the cashier to pay, which means waiting in line, especially when it’s crowded (which seems to be most of the time). Overall, the food was decent, but the experience felt a bit hectic.
