We found this place by chance. A restaurant with genuine charm and interesting decor that creates a cozy and pleasant atmosphere as soon as you enter. We enjoyed extremely delicious local specialties - we tried carbonara and trippa alla romana. For the finale we chose tiramisu with coffee. Everything was very delicious. Special thanks to Manuele, who with professionalism and a great sense of humor made our evening truly enjoyable.

On a four-day visit to Rome, I went to this place four times. Delicious pasta, the tirimasu transported me to another dimension, and the staff are delightful. You can't miss with this place.

The best carbonara in rome we have had, the four cheese puzza was really good aswell, the waiter was top notch had alot of banter and really made it enjoyable

Our experience was simply outstanding from start to finish. The hospitality was on an exceptional level — the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire time. They made us feel at home, and we truly spent some beautiful, memorable moments there. And the pizzas… absolutely perfect. The dough is on another level — truly exceptional. It was the thinnest and crispiest crust I have ever tasted, perfectly baked and unbelievably light. Every bite was a masterpiece. The flavor is honestly indescribable — perfectly balanced, rich, authentic, and simply flawless. If you are in Rome and looking for a place where quality, atmosphere, and hospitality come together perfectly, this is the place. Highly recommended!

26/02/2026: Such a pure average, pasta Carbona..if I were Italian I would have something else, but nothing was recommended to us. The staff probably doesn't like foreigners out of season, when they found out that we don't speak full Italian, it was kind of abrupt in the communication. Otherwise, classic 4 euro service everywhere. Nothing much in the middle. Next time, probably something else...
17/02/2026: My favorite restaurant in Ostia for traditional Roman food. The carbonara is delicious. Not too heavy, and the guanciale is cooked perfectly. The amatriciana is exquisite and my favorite I've had in Italy. If you want, you can ask for a bib because bucatini with red sauce and a white shirt don't go well together. The desserts are homemade, and you can taste it. The tiramisu is made with Osvego biscuits. Typical Roman, and I was speechless. The cream is like gold. The service is welcoming, and if you need advice, they know all about good food and wine. The atmosphere is like an osteria: rustic, authentic, and traditional. I recommend booking because it's always crowded.

16/02/2026: We happened upon this restaurant after a visit to the Roman Colosseum, Colosseum was very crowded, as we were very hungry and wanted to have lunch. The restaurant is charming and the waiters, the owner are very friendly. They speak English and Spanish. The pasta was excellent. I had the pasta with fish ( Tagliolini with cherry tomatoes and sea bass) something you would rarely find in the USA. My wife had the Gnocchetti ( don’t confuse with gnocchi) a coda di sore an all’ Amatriciana. That pasta was delicious and worth cleaning the plate with bread. If you are by the Roman Colosseum stop and eat a good meal at a friendly Italian restaurant near by.
16/02/2026: Delicious! Great service. Thank you for the excellent experience overall. Not a tourist trap as we also seem to dined with a lot of locals.
