05/01/2025: In the medieval center of Foligno, a very modern city, next to the cathedral and the fabulous Palazzo Trinci museum, you will find this fun place. This is a difficult establishment to classify. Is it a cafe, like a French bistro? It can, it has the air and the coffee served here is superior, in all its varieties. It also looks like a wine bar, the walls of the place full of good local wines. Or a pastry shop with tasting tables because they have all kinds of sweets. But it could also be a bar with its outdoor terrace open to the large square. The fact is that it offers food, good pasta, charcuterie and cheese boards, and other delicacies. The decoration meets all these descriptions: simple traditional bar tables, a large bar, bottles and more bottles, sideboards with cakes and large windows. The service, very familiar, is friendly and efficient. The food was good the first day. My charcuterie board was generous, in variety and quantity. And the tasty grilled vegetables. But when he returned the next day things suddenly changed. The charcuterie board was smaller, with less variety (ham and bacon were missing). The vegetables weren't the same either. Less variety, smaller size and the "melanzane" was missing. That's why I don't know which card to choose. In any case, it is a recommendable place to eat and the wines are fantastic. Amazing homemade desserts.
