If I want to feel at home, and not just go out for lunch or dinner, I go to Il Delfino.
The atmosphere is comfortable, never chaotic, and familiar. I know what to order and how to enjoy my meal while chatting. The service is friendly, never late, but always precise. I've been coming back for years and would recommend it to everyone, especially those who want a family-style meal.

A lovely restaurant on the Civitavecchia waterfront, with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. We found room for two on a Saturday lunch, without a reservation. The service was courteous and professional. The fried food was excellent, dry and crispy to perfection, and the grilled meat was also very good.
Prices are a little above average, with appetizers starting at €16 per dish, but the quality is there.
The sesame seed bread was also good, accompanied by a white pizza and individually wrapped breadsticks that they offer. A wine list is provided.

What can I say...
A good middle ground between a trattoria and a high-end seafood restaurant.
Fish is a bit frozen and a bit fresh.
Very good first courses, especially the seafood.
The rest of the food tastes a bit dull.
Anyway, I'd return for a quick, no-frills lunch.
Pleasant atmosphere, sea view, and beautifully set table.
