Der Service war sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich. Die Speiseauswahl ist toll. Die kleine Terrasse ist sehr eng und mitten auf der Straße. Wir hatten uns für einen Platz im Restaurant entschieden. Dank der Ventilatoren war es recht angenehm. Die Speisen sehen hausgemacht aus und schmecken ohne Schnörkel sehr gut und bodenständig. Für mich war das Essen eine wahre Freude. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Plat généreux et bon avec accompagnement et 1/2 eau et 1/4 vin pour 15€ ! Serveur sympa Il y a beaucoup de choix et en accompagnement je vous conseille les patatoes un régal !

A typically local restaurant in Florence that tourists are getting to know. The prices are very fair and affordable. The menu varied and the dishes were very tasty. It's a find in Florence for those who want to eat real local food, for a great price. Complete menus with main course, a drink (even wine) with water, from 10 euros per person. Furthermore, the environment is pleasant, simple and elegant. The staff is super attentive. Very recommended.

We took the €29 steak menu and were very satisfied: the portions were generous and the meat was tender and juicy. The service was quick and very courteous, the price includes drinks and cover charge. Overall, a great experience: highly recommended!

On our visit to Florence we had lunch at "Trattoria Il Contadino", after the good reviews it had. Without a doubt, they were not wrong: we chose the €15 menu, which included a drink, first and second courses, and a side dish. The food was exquisite and abundant. I recommend, without a doubt, the "caccio e pepe" pasta, which I loved. The staff was also very nice and attentive. One of the cheapest and tastiest places we ate during our stay in Italy.

17/12/2023: Family restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. We ate Tuscan appetizers, spaghetti with meat sauce, ossobuco and tripe. It's a shame that I discovered it on the last day before the final closure!

31/08/2024: The steak is tender and tasteful! It's worth a try. Make sure you make a reservation in advance to get a table.
30/08/2024: We went because my brother recommended it to us, since he was there on his visit to Florence and he told us that it is the place we should go if we wanted to try an authentic bistecca alla fiorentina and he was absolutely right. The place is very pleasant to go as a couple or with friends, whether to stop along the way or for a special dinner, although the atmosphere has an informal touch that makes it very cozy. The food, really good. The truth is that when we arrived and were greeted at the door by what seemed to be the owner, we did not feel at ease because he was quite distant, and even haughty, even though we had a reservation. Thank goodness Anna, our waitress, changed our minds. Their service was impeccable, professional and friendly and approachable at the same time. She saved dinner.
