Rustic place, family atmosphere, excellent food with generous portions and if you want they also ask you if you want to do an encore (which starts from the starter to the second course with the side dish). Recommended to go there any day of the year.

Genuine, atypical food with fresh local products. Bonarda is also good, for those who drink red wine. It is one of my favorite destinations when I am in the hills of Pavia. Prices normal. Advised.

The last time we were at Il Ceppo was 10 years ago. On Saturday we immediately felt at home again. As if we had never left. Il Ceppo is worth the trip in every way.

Excellent place, with a nice porch and many internal tables. Very kind staff. Generous portions. Lunch menu (first course, second course, side dish, water and coffee) from Tuesday to Friday: €12. I had pasta pie, fried meatballs and giardiniera.

08/01/2025: Excellent, try it to believe it
28/12/2024: Just finished lunch today December 28th, what can I say, amazing!!!! Starter with polenta and porcini mushrooms practically divine, followed by risotto with porcini mushrooms and taleggio cheese incredibly good!!! We concluded with a sublime caramel panna cotta. Super super recommended. Ps very nice and friendly service and staff.

18/12/2024: Pizzeria with excellent choice, special pizzas, gourmet type but at normal prices. Nice place, especially in the summer season with the outdoor area. Open on Mondays when almost all are closed
13/10/2024: All round top quality restaurant, with food to die for, friendly service and a superb atmosphere. Everytime we visit family in Italy, eating here is a must for us.
