Sono stata in questo osteria per un compleanno. Il cibo era davvero buono ma purtroppo c'è stato un problema. Portando tutto con i vassoi e non essendoci un menù non sapevo cosa ci fosse esattamenteall'interno dei piatti. Avendo un'intolleranza all'aglio ho evitato i piatti in cui ero sicura di trovarlo. Ho saputo solo dopo che in uno dei piatti c'era l'aglio e, purtroppo. sono stata male per qualche giorno. Sicuramente non avrei dovuto dare per scontato che l'aglio c'era solo nei piatti in cui era ovvio. Dovrebbe comunque esserci un menù con segnati gli allergeni. Prezzo ottimo per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato. La mia non vuole essere una critica, avendo sbagliato in primis, ma solo un consiglio.

Venerdì a pranzo Panissa ( e puoi fare anche il bis) bollito, bagnetto verde e verdure ( cotechino strepitoso) torta di cioccolato e pere, vino, acqua e caffè 20 euro a testa... qualità alta!!!!

Really welcoming family run restaurant. Fixed price menu with a choice of a couple of dishes per course, made the same day. Advised. Better to call to book a table because especially on Saturdays it could be sold out. Compliments to the chef and all the staff for their kindness and friendliness. No one leaves without a beautiful smile from the managers.

I like the panissa and I appreciate the spartan atmosphere, it's a shame that many Fridays the seats at the table are full.

Great discovery!!! We ate a space-age panissa from Vercelli, excellent and plentiful. Rustic place, excellent food, as well as value for money! 3 starters, panissa, boiled meat and dessert €25 per person including water and wine! Book well in advance! Open only for lunch

15/02/2025: Last night I had dinner with my wife, I discovered the Antica Trattoria del Canto while passing through the area a few months ago while taking a motorbike tour with my Africa Twin, and we promised ourselves we would return and stop to eat. As soon as upon entering we informed the owners that my wife has celiac disease and they immediately made themselves available to fulfill all our requests as far as possible, in fact they did their best to satisfy her. We ordered a starter of various very good cured meats and an artichoke flan with fondue, which was also good. For the first course I ordered the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, excellent and al dente. Second course: fillet with apples and walnuts with cheese fondue for my wife, who was very satisfied. For me Ligurian stockfish, very good. Finally, for dessert, an excellent and abundant tiramisu. The portions are very generous. What about the owners? Well, they make you feel at home, kind and friendly, then they like riding a motorbike (like me), in fact they would like to start riding a twin-cylinder maxi enduro again. Recommended place

26/01/2025: LOCATION: 9. Bella struttura, particolarissime le cantine con gli infernot tipici del Monferrato, ristorante ordinato, pulito e ben arredato. SERVIZIO: 10. Il proprietario del ristorante, nonché cameriere, è molto molto disponibile. Abbiamo anche richiesto un piatto fuori menù (per vegetariani) davvero ottimo! MENU: 9. Portate tipiche piemontesi a base di carne. Poca scelta per vegetariani (ma il proprietario è più che disponibile per cucinare alternative). Agnolotti, salumi e vitello tonnato davvero squisiti, antipasto misto molto abbondante. CONTO: 9. Prezzi onesti, adeguati alle portate. C'è anche un menù a prezzo fisso a 30 euro (che credo sia ottimo per mangiatori seriali).
19/01/2025: Experience definitely above expectations. Excellent dishes, truly exquisite and refined raw materials. Very kind and calm service. The furnishings are a bit basic, but believe me the cuisine is truly exceptional.
