Great discovery!!! We ate a space-age panissa from Vercelli, excellent and plentiful. Rustic place, excellent food, as well as value for money! 3 starters, panissa, boiled meat and dessert €25 per person including water and wine! Book well in advance! Open only for lunch

A beautiful and delicious discovery. Two dishes of Panissa Vercellese (I requested an encore), boiled meat with green sauce, cotechino and beans, chestnut cake, bottled wine, water, coffee and bitters. All inclusive for 20 euros. Nice atmosphere and very kind owners. Even though it's more than 40 km from home, I think I'd happily go back!

Sembra di aver viaggiato nel tempo e di essere ritornati agli anni ’60, lo stile e le portate sono le stesse delle trattorie di campagna dell’epoca: numerosi antipasti tradizionali serviti dai vassoi, risotto e agnolotti, arrosto con contorno, dolce e caffè, il tutto in porzioni abbondanti e a prezzi modici. La sala non è molto grande, di conseguenza il rumore di sottofondo disturba la conversazione, il caldo estivo si fa sentire e l’unico vetusto condizionatore non riesce a contrastare l’umidità. Peraltro, il cibo è genuino e le proprietarie sono molto gentili e premurose.

Bar Trattoria Quattroruote

23/12/2024: Found through Google looking for a restaurant near Aqui Terme, I trusted the reviews found in the photos. They didn't disappoint me. It is a small restaurant and bar with probably a maximum of 30 seats, with small tables that can be joined together or not depending on your needs. There is a small car park, probably 5 spaces, as well as the possibility of parking on the roadside. Rustic, genial place, a real trattoria. No written or QR menu. You are asked directly by the chef and the two waitresses what you want to eat, giving you the choice between different pasta condiments and a couple of second courses. In my case I took pasta with roast sauce, very tasty and delicate, as well as abundant, and cotechino with purée (otherwise there was roast beef). For dessert I had a very good Genoese panettone, but you could choose between fruit, panettone or cheese. Coffee to complete as well as water and a quarter of wine (not taken because then we had to drive). All very fast, kind and with a smile always on their faces. Total cost (fixed price lunch) 13 euros. Definitely worth returning if I'm in the area again.
