Very good local cuisine. Italian atmosphere, not touristy, more for locals. The menu is in the form of a chalkboard, brought by the waiter, only in Italian :) I highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable.

We had a great evening yesterday. All three of us really enjoyed the food. The service was very friendly and systematic...we felt very comfortable. Thank you! And we thought we were being served by an Italian Jude Law ;)

Trattoria in Castelletto. Lunch for two, ordering minestrone, prosciutto and melon, mixed salad, a glass of wine and two coffees. About twenty euros per person, with a minestrone that lacked flavor due to the little pesto used. Some mix-ups during payment, but resolved fairly quickly. Prices definitely subject to review.

15/09/2025: We celebrated my mother's birthday (89 years old) at the request of my father (90), who fondly remembered dining at this restaurant with his family since he was young/child, a detail that testifies to the long history of this place. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, the service very friendly, and the food truly excellent, with flavors reminiscent of tradition. It was a simple, authentic, and very pleasant lunch that made us feel right at home. A place we happily recommend and where we hope to return soon.
06/09/2025: Dedicated to those who love to eat well! Don't miss the spectacular cheese focaccias served with exceptional prosciutto. There are so many first courses, it's hard to choose. Then it gets even worse with the delicious, homemade dessert!

Osteria c'era una volta

26/10/2025: I'd say average. The pasta and rice were overcooked and a bit bland, the fried mushrooms were a bit charred, and the fish main course was better. Hmm.
13/10/2025: Rustic osteria in the old town of Arenzano. Service was mediocre, rushed, and very abrupt. The seats were very uncomfortable. The vintage furniture, while nice-looking, was incredibly uncomfortable. The food was okay. The vitellone with balsamic sauce took some getting used to, but otherwise everything was delicious.
