Trattoria I Tre Merli In Genova

3 stars just for the friendliness of the staff and for the tiramisu which was very good...otherwise the food wasn't good and we didn't like the location!

I am writing a new review after a couple of years of frequenting this restaurant. The stars become five for all parameters after, in fact, numerous visits every time we are in Genoa. Always flawless! As my daughter-in-law, another regular visitor together with my son and daughter, says, "it's like going to eat at your aunt's, good and genuine food, warm but not affected welcome and a family environment". What about the food: perfect trofie, excellent fried food because it's freshly made, Genoese minestrone and tripe dishes for which my wife says "this evening we're going to 3 Merli because I'm craving their minestrone or tripe. Everything else follows with equal satisfaction. Long live the 3 Merli and especially those who manage it.

I had lunch with my wife and good friends, and we ate very well and were treated very well, wonderful pesto, delicious Ligurian rabbit, wonderful fried anchovies. Highly recommended to everyone

Don't miss this site! A true Genoese experience, off the beaten track. Friendly people, delicious local food and a warm atmosphere that couldn't be more traditional. Nothing is set up for a tourist show: here you can get to know Italy from the inside.

I go there occasionally, but it is always the best for the quality of the food and the typically Genoese environment. You feel at home.

Il locale merita :posizione,pulizia,camerieri e servizio veloce nonostante fosse affollato.Trovo caro il cartoccio di panissa e i muscoli e le vongole di contorno al cappon magro erano secchi ed immangiabili!!!per il resto ok (tagliata morbida e saporita).nel complesso lo consiglio!

Really excellent boulangerie for an excellent, rich and varied breakfast

Avrei forse potuto dare 4 stelle se avessimo speso 25€. Ma per aperitivo, primo, dolce + pessimo vino della casa, ne abbiamo spesi 50 tondi tondi. Il locale è carino, il servizio ok. Se si trattasse di un libro lo definirei "commerciale", un libro da spiaggia. I piatti sono tutti ok, nulla di cattivo, ma nulla di eccelso, pane abbastanza insulso, affettati di qualità mediocre, pansotti al sugo di noci pesantuccio (forse era allungato con panna??), affogato con il caffè che era già freddo e gelato che sembrava quello del carrefour. Un gelato della Sogegross sarebbe infinitamente migliore. Nulla di memorabile, mentre per 50€ ci deve per forza essere qualcosa che spicca. Può andare bene per un pranzo al volo, un pasto da tutti i giorni. Non per una "cena fuori per un ritrovo speciale tra amici".
