Trattoria I Tre Merli In Genova

Not to be missed if you want to eat authentic Genoese cuisine instead of falling into the usual tourist traps.

A fantastic restaurant with authentic Ligurian cuisine. We have been coming here for 30 years. Highly recommended.

Trattoria in Castelletto. Lunch for two, ordering minestrone, prosciutto and melon, mixed salad, a glass of wine and two coffees. About twenty euros per person, with a minestrone that lacked flavor due to the little pesto used. Some mix-ups during payment, but resolved fairly quickly. Prices definitely subject to review.

The food is very good. I went three times in one week. Good value for money and located in the nicest neighborhood of Genova.

3 stars just for the friendliness of the staff and for the tiramisu which was very good...otherwise the food wasn't good and we didn't like the location!

I am writing a new review after a couple of years of frequenting this restaurant. The stars become five for all parameters after, in fact, numerous visits every time we are in Genoa. Always flawless! As my daughter-in-law, another regular visitor together with my son and daughter, says, "it's like going to eat at your aunt's, good and genuine food, warm but not affected welcome and a family environment". What about the food: perfect trofie, excellent fried food because it's freshly made, Genoese minestrone and tripe dishes for which my wife says "this evening we're going to 3 Merli because I'm craving their minestrone or tripe. Everything else follows with equal satisfaction. Long live the 3 Merli and especially those who manage it.

I had lunch with my wife and good friends, and we ate very well and were treated very well, wonderful pesto, delicious Ligurian rabbit, wonderful fried anchovies. Highly recommended to everyone

Locale accogliente , personale gentile e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo . Stoccafisso e acciughe fritte molto buoni , prossima volta provo il minestrone . Siamo stati molto bene , bravi !
