What can I say, a wonderful place, a chef with golden hands, the dining room staff very hospitable and at the same time very well prepared and very attentive to the needs of the customers. we had a great time. Special thanks to the cook. Thank you for everything

I loved this restaurant. If you look for a restaurant after finishing your hiking at Porta Pistola, Trattoria i due sassi is close to you. First, the interior makes you feel the place - you are not in any ordinary restaurant but in a restaurant in Matera. Secondly, the staff was always smiling and ready to help. Thirdly, the food is absolutely delicios. I tried the lasagna which is based on a local Matera-style recipe.

Good experience. The cuisine is excellent. The setting is nice. We were not able to enjoy the outside (only tables of 2). It’s very filling even for the most gourmands. We were charged for one dessert too much. Too bad for us, we only realized it afterwards.

I had dinner and I ate very well, without long waits as some "philosophical" reviews say, despite the place being full. Fantastic place and atmosphere. I recommend it.

21/08/2024: Fantastic !!! But more fantastic are the people who run the kiosk and the lido, friendliness and kindness are the scent you breathe, we rented an umbrella and 2 sunbeds. Finally an HONEST price!!!, the lido is clean, well maintained with all the necessary services, In addition to the bar service, at the kiosk there is also catering both at the table under a beautiful shaded canopy in the cool with comfortable spaces and for takeaway, the menu is vast and the dishes are plentiful and good. What can I tell you... I recommend it as they recommended it to me this beach so I warmly invite you to spend a beautiful day between the sea with sand and good relaxation p.s. with the promise that you too will help to keep it as clean as you found it, thanks Elisa

Osteria Pico

07/12/2024: Ultima cena a Matera, cercando una location nei sassi ci facciamo consigliare da un collega questo posto dove ha cenato la sera prima. Posto splendido dentro il centro di Matera, si entra e si scende nella “grotta”.. 2 giovani ragazzi si prodigano nel servirci al meglio e ci riescono! Inizio con un antipasto di formaggi misti e crostone al pomodoro, buoni! Io proseguo con una pasta con pesto di pistacchi, funghi e formaggio gustoso! Il mio collega orecchiette alle cime di rapa e peperone crusco molto bello ed abbondante. 1 bottiglia di vino, acqua e 2 amari 96€. Mi è piaciuto il clima che si respirava, bravi ripeto i 2 giovani che con serietà e simpatia ci hanno accompagnato. Ci sarebbero da provare altri piatti ma all’indomani purtroppo, torniamo al “nord”!!!
25/11/2024: The starters for two are spectacular, enough to have dinner without ordering another dish. I am surprised by the reviews of the staff, we were there twice and both times they were very friendly
