Sono stata con la mia amica e collega di martedì sera . Volevamo un posto tranquillo ma sfizioso per chiacchierare e mangiare....abbiamo trovato questo ristorante molto carino, atmosfera calda e accogliente,musica di sottofondo piacevole.....il proprietario presente ma molto discreto, elegante come il locale. Piatti buoni e cucina veloce,tempi di attesa giusti... La crostata di visciole calda e fatta in casa?? Squisitissima 🤩 Spero di tornarci presto... grazie davvero!!!!

If you don't want to wait in line, get there early. Complete menu with pasta dish (of the day), water and house wine for 5 euros. Very traditional place frequented by locals. Well served pasta and a complimentary coffee at the end (don't expect to drink an espresso). Small place but the service was good and the food arrived quickly.

Soft music at low volume, random people inside, a fixed menu at lunch and make do with the company... If this place doesn't represent Rome, I don't know what does: simplicity, efficiency and ancient beauty. I will return, and if you want to try it, know that you are encountering the subjective normality of Rome. And go there with arms wide open.

Excellent carbonara and Neapolitan escarole. I think it's the best place to go to dinner in the Piazza Bologna area

Then eat delicious, fast and cheap. Assilam is very kind, I like his work. It costs 5 euros: glass of wine, butella di aquva, first course - surprise, coffee. Only 5 euros.

Conoscevo la trattoria per il pranzo (sempre ottimo). Piacevole scoperta la cena. Sapori della tradizione, ingredienti di livello. Super Consigliato!

30/12/2024: The hidden gem of Rome restaurant. If you look for a restaurant without tourist and with truly Rome spirit, this is the right place! The old lady is a very nice and has a welcomed. Her son(or husband) was also open-minded and helpful. Bezie for the delicious food🤌🇮🇹
31/10/2024: This place was a fantastic place and as a couple of Americans we highly recommend it. They speak English and gave us great recommendations! The food for the price is excellent and the restaurant has a local feel.

05/01/2025: Excellent place. A quiet place to eat good food without getting fleeced in Rome. Sublime dishes of the day alongside the classic menu.
