The atmosphere is very refined and the host is very friendly. The first courses are among the best I've ever tasted, but the portions are a bit small. The wait was a bit long, but in the end it was worth it, and the host explained that he was alone that evening. I personally can't comment on the price, as we ate with a 50% discount on the fork; otherwise, the prices would have been a bit higher than average (carbonara €15). Overall, I'll definitely be back.

For lunch, there's a fixed menu for €5, including a pasta dish of the day, water, wine, and moka pot. No variations—whatever you order is what you eat. This, combined with the super homey atmosphere, makes you feel like you're in the dining room of a Roman home. Not gourmet, but real, good cuisine. You leave feeling full and satisfied, eating well in a beautiful setting and spending very little. Truly, nothing to complain about. Since I discovered it, it's been a regular stop every time I come to Rome. If I could just criticize the staff, they're not particularly warm, but that's just to nitpick.

Excellent, one of the best meals I’ve eaten in Rome.

Lunch: €5 for a pasta dish (you get the one of the day with no choice), water, a glass of wine, and coffee from the moka pot. Roman atmosphere, homey, without fuss. You eat, pay, and leave...you can't stay longer than necessary because there's always people in line. Honest. Good pasta, al dente, recommended by my Roman aunt who lives two minutes away.

The only lunch menu available was the establishment's choice. It included house wine, water, and pasta arrabiata. For someone who had recently arrived in Rome and was in a hurry to get to their room, this was undoubtedly an excellent option. €5 per person. Many locals were choosing this place.

An evening to remember ❤️ My boyfriend and I went to Trattoria Guerra tonight, and we can't help but smile (and still have our mouths watering!) about it. The food was simply excellent: the matriciana was so good we couldn't stop eating it, a true explosion of flavors. And I say this, even though I'm not usually a big pasta fan... but I would have ordered another plate in a heartbeat! The main courses were delicious, cooked with care and passion. And the dessert... a real treat, the perfect end to an already perfect dinner. A special thanks to the owner, so kind and welcoming, who made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, relaxing... just the place you want to return to. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

A hidden corner that surprises! €5 menu, and a spectacular pasta dish!

Sono stata stasera in questa deliziosa trattoria con il mio ragazzo e ne siamo rimasti davvero entusiasti. Il locale è intimo, curato nei dettagli e si respira un’atmosfera accogliente e familiare. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo fin dal nostro arrivo, attento e disponibile per tutta la serata. Abbiamo gustato un’ottima cucina romana, autentica e ben preparata: piatti ricchi di sapore, porzioni generose e ingredienti di qualità. Il tutto a un prezzo onestissimo, difficile da trovare altrove. Consigliato!
