At Trattoria Gracco in Montefiore, we had a truly special experience, one that stays in your heart. Nestled in the tranquility of the countryside, this trattoria perfectly combines simplicity and thoughtfulness: the atmosphere is welcoming, refined without being formal, and you immediately feel a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. My husband, my son, my grandparents, and I were here at Easter, and everything was impeccable. The cuisine is a true highlight: traditional recipes revisited with creativity, never boring, and elegantly presented with attention to detail. You can clearly sense the attention paid to the selection of ingredients, all of which are of the highest quality and locally sourced. Each dish was a pleasant discovery, surprising in both taste and beauty. But what truly makes this place special is the harmony between cuisine, ambiance, and hospitality: a rare balance that made us feel pampered throughout the entire meal. I continue my search for new places like osterias. We're in the hills of Romagna. This osteria has nothing to do with the name of the famous chef. It's simply an acronym for the owners. I'd describe this place as rustic, ancient, isolated, yet innovative. The place is reached from a quiet road. They have their own parking lot and then a curious staircase (high heels are not recommended for ladies) that ascends through the greenery, surrounded by an enchanting atmosphere with historic and curious objects, even a little messy. Upon arrival, you notice outdoor dining areas (not very inviting or tidy at first glance). You climb a staircase past the kitchen and reach the first floor. On the first floor, there's a terrace with a few tables (request this when booking in the summer) and three smaller rooms, including the bar, each with a maximum of 5-8 tables. Properly spaced tables allow for conversation and privacy, indicating that they're not meant to crowd customers like other establishments, but to make you feel at home while enjoying their cuisine. You're greeted by a friendly, easygoing gentleman who knows a bit about how to prepare the dishes. He's quick with service (though there were only six tables occupied), and equipped with electronic technology to communicate with the kitchen downstairs. Dishes ascend via a small restaurant-style freight elevator. The dishes and portions are well-presented (considering it's an osteria), with varied preparations and seasonal ingredients. The menu changes every three or four months, while maintaining some specialties as a foundation. The house wine is also good, bottled but not from the Romagna area. Prices are fair and reasonable. The bathroom is convenient, but there are two steps. Electronic payments accepted.

A charming, rustic place full of childhood memories. Excellent food and a charming, imaginative owner. Recommended for those seeking tranquility, excellent food, and the authentic atmosphere of old-fashioned restaurants. 🍷✨

This trattoria, discovered by chance, has already become one of my favorite places. The atmosphere is meticulously crafted, warm, and welcoming, with an authentic feel that instantly makes you feel at home, with so many details that take you back in time. You can sense the attention and passion in everything, from the table setting to the dining room management. The food is truly excellent. A huge shout-out goes to the vegetarian options—not "alternatives," but authentic, creative, and incredibly satisfying dishes (worth the visit alone). The portions are generous and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back soon!
