Place surrounded by greenery with the possibility of excursions by bike but also on foot. Cuisine with delicious dishes and a wide selection of wines, attentive, prepared and friendly staff

After the fire last summer, “Devetack” was always there to testify to the tenacity and responsiveness of the owners and the people of San Michele del Carso. The courteous and exquisite staff. The place even more beautiful, well-kept and welcoming. The menu, a compendium of “local excellences” while respecting the best traditions. The cellar, a “treasure” in which the best regional wines are kept and in particular of the Italian and Slovenian Collio. With an additional element of interest and distinction, the ability to offer wines produced by lesser-known cellars but which for this very reason unequivocally express the knowledge and ability of Mr. Devetack.

Ottima cucina con ingredienti a KM zero, anche provenienti dall’azienda di famiglia. Personale cortese, proprietario affabile, buona la cantina. Peccato solo per il tipo di ristrutturazione fatta….il locale poteva veramente essere TOPin tutto..

07/04/2025: Two very important things….what we ate and drank was very good. The service was average but with the plus of the very "friendly" approach of the owner, some may not like it but given the context it was fine. The environment being small has been optimized to accommodate as many people as possible (this is understandable) therefore at the expense of comfort. What is less understandable is that our clothes were permeated with an unpleasant smell of food which remained on us until we returned home. Equally incomprehensible is the cover price of €3 per person given that it included 1 straw paper placemat, 1 TNT (non-woven fabric) napkin, not of the best quality.
