A good option for a quiet meal in a small village in northern Lazio. The appetizer is delicious, featuring local cured meats, cheeses, and ricotta. The Maremma-style ragù is a must-try. The baked potatoes, cooked in their skins, are excellent. Worth a stop.

If you go to Canino you definitely have to eat at Trattoria GASPERINI. An original environment with colorful tables and paintings painted by the owners. A beautiful tuff arch decorates the interiors on the ground floor and on the upper floor. Pleasant music accompanies your dinner. We started with some very good bruschetta and fried vegetables. The paccheri with pistachio cream, pecorino and bacon are extraordinary. But even the more classic carbonare is particularly tasty. I had the beef cheek braised in red wine which I found delicious. The sour cherry tart is one of the best I have ever eaten. I will definitely come back.

Ci sono stato due volte in un soggiorno di tre giorni in zona . Piatti semplici e poco elaborati come si addice alla linea guida di una trattoria di paese . Tutto molto buono, ben eseguito e ben presentato ma senza inutili fronzoli . Proprietario, Chef e personale di sala molto cordiali . Menzione ai vari tipi di olio evo che usano e che sono spaziali. A presto
