Generous portions, amazing boiled meats, the rest remains to be discovered "until next time." Definitely recommended.

This was my first time at this completely renovated restaurant, and I have to say it was lovely. Now for the downsides. My sisters and I shared an appetizer of cured meats and torta fritta. The cured meat was good, the torta fritta was beyond reproach. Then the sliced meat was very good, and the boiled meats were average with sauces. At that point in the meal, we were abandoned. We called a woman who had the plates taken away, but the sauces remained on the table. We didn't see anyone again. We paid and said goodbye.

Average first courses, wide selection of wines. Beautiful glass-fronted dining room with antique furnishings. Price a bit too high for what's on offer.

A dedicated room with a beautiful round table, a roaring fireplace, and one dish better than the next.
Perfect pisarei e fasò, melt-in-the-mouth stewed ganassini, all preceded by a crispy, flavorful, and dry fried cake with excellent cured meat.

A stellar Sunday lunch at this splendid restaurant...tortelli...magnificent plate of boiled meat with sauces...very fast staff...expedited service...and to top it all off...the owner who answers me in Piacenza dialect...too forward...highly recommended...next time I return to Italy I will definitely return...I returned today, November 7, 2025, just after arriving in Italy, and I gorged on the trolley of boiled meats and sauces, which were abundant and delicious. I finished with delicious zuppa inglese and black cherries in alcohol. Always special.
