The place is nice but slightly more expensive than the offerings in the area. Only 3 stars for the food because the menu featured suckling pig, which clearly wasn't suckling pig. When asked if it was, the response was: "I don't know." Another customer asked the same question last week. I'll have to check with the kitchen; perhaps they should check. 18 euros for a different dish is a bit annoying.

A delicious place to eat, pardon my Italian; we arrived in Siena from Spain. The service was helpful and correct, but as a chef, and with all due respect, this is constructive criticism. A suckling pig should weigh no more than 6 kg; the one we were served was already drinking milk from a glass. The pig had been reheated in the oven, not prepared fresh that day. Although the flavor was good, the cooking was a bit overdone. If roasting and reheating suckling pigs, I recommend using a low heat and, at the customer's request, roasting it with a little fat rubbed into the skin to make it crispy. The bread service would be even better if served warm, accompanied by a good extra virgin olive oil, and a small snack while waiting would be appreciated. The side dishes were adequate. A beautiful, welcoming place. We had a Chianina Florentine steak, truly superb! Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We stopped by for dinner with the family. The place is welcoming and colorful, and the wait staff is young and smiling, but also very knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. We ate a mix of bruschetta and delicious local cheeses, a Chianina steak that melted in our mouths... To finish, homemade cantucci with Vin Santo... in short, a full immersion in true Tuscan style! But the added value of the whole evening were the people who accompanied us during dinner... a special thanks to Waseh and Carola, an added value to the restaurant!!!!!! Oh my! I don't know where to start. It was a crescendo of taste and pleasure. The mixed cured meats appetizer was a spectacle, the pici with wild boar ragù was an explosion of flavor, the tagliata with oil and rosemary with baked potatoes was beyond words. The meat was incredibly tender and the potatoes were exquisite. The house wine was top-notch (both white and red). I was there with my husband and daughter, and we left thrilled. Another super positive note is the very professional, kind, and knowledgeable wait staff. From the kitchen, you can feel their love for their work and for sourcing the finest ingredients... Everyone was top-notch, a special thanks to the sweet Alessandra who took care of us in so many ways. If I lived in the area, I would go back every night. 5 stars is definitely not enough. GO THERE!

Booked New Year's Eve dinner 90 euros per person.... Good starters and first courses (nothing exceptional..... I couldn't eat one of the two because I personally don't like truffles and there was no alternative... At least it wasn't offered to me), the second courses, two types, but served not very hot and on a single plate (mixed flavors)... Including the side dish, dessert little but good, low quality sparkling wine... probably an old stock and label unknown to me.... Luckily the room was large, characteristic as a structure and one could speak reassuringly; fast and helpful staff... All in all a dinner of decent quality..... Which didn't thrill us... We expected better for the price paid in advance and because it was recommended by the hotel

Very good food, quality cold cuts, and even the meat. Poor service, unwelcoming waiters from the door to the bill.

Very good dishes, the fresh handmade pici were excellent. Service was friendly and fast. The cover charge and water were exorbitant; otherwise, everything would have been perfect.
