Trattoria F.lli Martina In Chiusaforte

I'm torn about the review of this hotel. It certainly wasn't the best on our Alpe-Adria tour... and there weren't any more options in Chiusaforte... but the combination of the owner's warmth and the quality of the breakfast and dinner was simply fantastic...

Great Hospitality. Everything just perfect

Roberto was very nice and took good care of us. The rooms were very nice and clean! The location is great when coming from the bike path. The breakfast was phenomenal. We felt very welcome in Chiusaforte and would love to come back!

Probably the best and friendliest host in Friuli. Everything was simply superb, a very friendly host, excellent food. We and our dog Einstein have always been warmly welcomed, several times a year! Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms, we're always happy to come back! Private bike garage!

A down-to-earth inn, ideally located for an overnight stay while cycling the Alpe Adria Cycle Route. Comfortable rooms, many with small kitchenettes. Be sure to have dinner in the in-house trattoria. Reservations are required; it's not a classic à la carte restaurant. The food is excellent, upscale, traditional, and plentiful. A small but very fine selection of dishes. The host is exceptionally attentive and friendly, happy to fulfill your wishes. He speaks very good German. The Italian breakfast is a real surprise, with everything you'd expect from a proper, healthy breakfast, served family-style: muesli, fruit, yogurt, white bread and croissants, juice, various cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, jams, and wonderful coffee and cappuccino. We were in a group of eight and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and are still raving about it.

We were traveling along the Alpe-Adria Cycle Route and stopped in Chiusaforte for one night. The room was simple but very clean. Excellent food, and the host was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

Everything is in perfect order. Cozy rooms, nice service. The only downside is that you can hear the highway in the area. Generally I recommend it.

The town is located on the Alpe-Adria Cycle Route, so we were looking for accommodation for one night. Our expectations were more than exceeded.

Did the Alpe Adria. This house and its nice host fulfilled all of our wishes. Also a culinary insider tip. Grazie voi.

The owner serves personally 24/7. You wouldn't want to leave there.
