I'm torn about the review of this hotel. It certainly wasn't the best thing on our Alpe-Adria tour... there wasn't much choice in Chiusaforte either... but the package with the warmth of the owner and the quality of the breakfast and dinner was simply fantastic...

Excellent Hospitality. Everything simply perfect

Roberto was very nice and took good care of us. The rooms were very nice and clean! The location is great if you come from the bike path. The breakfast was phenomenal. We felt very welcome in Chiusaforte and we would love to come back!

Probably the best and friendliest host in Friuli. Everything was great, very friendly host, top food. We and our dog Einstein have always been warmly welcomed, several times a year! Great breakfast, nice rooms, we'll always come back! Own bike garage!

Down-to-earth guesthouse, ideally located to stay overnight while cycling the Alpe Adria cycle path. Comfortable rooms, many with small kitchenettes. Be sure to have dinner in the house's tratoria. Reservations must be made, not a classic a la carte restaurant. The food is excellent, upscale home cooking, traditional and plentiful. Only a small but very fine selection of dishes. Extremely attentive and approachable host who is happy to fulfill your wishes. Speaks German very well. The Italian breakfast is a real surprise, because everything you need for a proper and healthy breakfast is laid out on the table in family style: muesli, fruit, yoghurt, white bread and croissants, juice, various cold cuts and cheese, eggs, jams and wonderful coffee and cappuccino. We were in a group of eight and really enjoyed our short stay and are still raving about it.

We were on the Alpe-Adria cycle path and stopped in Chiusaforte for 1 night. Rooms simple but very clean. Best food, a very nice host. Only recommended!!!

Everything is fine. Cozy rooms, nice service. The only downside is that you can hear the highway nearby. Generally, I recommend it.

The place is on the Alpe-Adria cycle path, so we were looking for somewhere to stay for one night. Our expectations were more than exceeded.

Did the Alpe Adria. This house and its nice host fulfilled all of our wishes. Also a culinary insider tip. Grazie voi.

The owner serves personally 24/7. You wouldn't want to leave there.
